They synopsis told the whole story with spoilers ,,, why do I need to watch now ?
Why did you read it then? Honestly I doubt a synopsis spoiled the whole 32 episode plot. But even if it did, watch it for the thrilling action sequences, the comedy and the sweet romantic moments...
I’m confused. A commenter below posted this. Who has amnesia? Lol https://www.avirtualvoyage.net/2020/12/luo-yun-xi-and-cheng-xiao-begin-filming-for-lie-to-love.html
Cheng Xiao's character pretends to have amnesia in the first few episodes.
Can someone tell when they become official if there’s any breakups and is it a happy ending cause unlike broker…
Main leads get together (fake relationship): episode 6 Main leads get together (real relationship): episode 17 Break up: Episode 28 Get back together: Episode 30
Can someone spoil me please when do the main lead get together and break ups and also a happy ending

Why was Leo injured in this drama...i saw clips of him using walking sticks to support him... and the female lead…
His injury is a pretty major part of the plot. He got injured trying to save the life of the FL's dad. FL doesn't really help him physically, maybe she's not strong enough. She does help him in other ways, like modifying their house to support a wheelchair, nagging him to go to his checkups etc.
I just couldn't understand that when Xie Ming Hao asked her break up, why she didn't ask Yan to play along ??…
Minghao told her that if she contacted A'Yan, he would know, though. Implying he put a tracker on her phone or something, but eventually this turned out to be false because when she called him a few episodes later, nothing happened. But she must have believed it at the time, and that it may cause her to be punished or her sister to be punished.
i sneakly watch the last ep and i saw the ML and FL alive,so why are people saying it's a sad ending??
Basically because it is not explained how FL is alive at the end, because she appeared to die in the last episode. Some people took the final scene as a dream sequence, others thought it signified that she wasn't really dead but just "hidden away" by the ML. It's not clear at all, and very much open to interpretation.
Unfortunately there is no way to know for sure. It's an open ending, so there are (at least) two possible interpretations. That's really frustrating to me (and many other people).
By the way, you might want to spoiler tag your comment :)
I don't think it's fair to say that the girls are portrayed as money grabbing or crazy. In particular Wan Qing and Ming Jiao aren't at all portrayed like that. They are successful and have good morals.
I feel the same, it's sad to have finished it, but I'm hoping to find something else like it. "The Lover's Lies" looks interesting. Have you found anything similar yourself?
Jing Yuan's arc is interesting. I could see that she truly felt she was the one who deserved to be with Jin Fan, and if she could just make it work, she would be happy forever. But she eventually realised that was not the case. I don't think she was as scheming as other characters, she was just trying to deal with her broken heart - and she clearly redeemed herself by the end.
Issues with things happening off screen - there are three main things I want to mention. The first is when Lai Xue told Jin Fan that Wan Qing is carrying his child. I'd love to have seen his reaction, but unfortunately we only saw their discussion just before the point where she told him.
Second, the point where Chuang told Jin Fan that he'd been acting ever since he became the director of the board. This was a critical moment, but we just heard Chuang's words in a voiceover and didn't actually see the two friends reconcile.
Finally, it would have been nice to see the wedding of Jin Fan and Wan Qing at the end, especially as we did get to see some other weddings and engagement parties in the show. In the final scene on the beach, Wan Qing does call him "husband", so I guess they did get married, but this is not even that clear.
As I'm in spoiler tags, I also want to mention that it's really weird that they introduced a new love interest for Lai Xue right at the end (the guy from her college who was good at hacking) but it doesn't show if they ended up together. I think they're a good match.
Also, Wan Yang was single at the end too, which I thought was sad, although his chemistry with Wan Hua was never really there in my opinion.
There are two versions of the drama, one has 46 episodes of about 40 minutes each and another has 51 episodes of about 35 minutes each. The 46 episode version is better, it has a "cleaner" end to each episode, less recaps, and some additional scenes which make the plot make more sense (e.g. the scene where Jin Fan slaps Ming Jiao in the face is extended so you can see the argument leading up to it). I think some of your complaints relate to the fact that you were watching the 51 episode version :)
I'm watching this drama right now and it's awesome! *o* I'm completely hooked! But I'm confused about one thing,…
There are two versions, one has 46 and one has 51. The one with 46 episodes is more complete as it has longer episodes and some scenes are present that aren't in the 51 episode version.
Main leads get together (real relationship): episode 17
Break up: Episode 28
Get back together: Episode 30
Happy ending: Yes!
