Not my taste but it's kinda good

It took me 6 months to completely finished this because I keep getting distracted and watching other shows 😂 This is the first time I'm watching Chinese historical dramas and it might be my last time too 😂 I'm really not a fan of historical dramas, whatever country it is (watched only few historical Kdramas). I can understand why most people said Chinese historical is better than K ver. Probably because it has lots of details from the wars, politics and so on. The storyline is okay, but nearly 2nd half of the series, I watched it in 2x speed except for the main couple and third couple scenes 😂 I'm really not interested in other plots and so many names to memorize 🥲

Regarding the main plot, the lies are quite dragging and took so long for the fl to remember. And then, for the third couple, I feel so so frustrated with the Emperor, not being able to move on from Miantang ughhh Xueji gurl deserved better tho I'm still shipping those two. Shueji might my fav character here, she's sooo prettyyy, cutee, nice and kinddd 🥹 Ziyu really didn't deserve her, tho I'm happy with their endgame but wished for more moments 🥲 and it's kinda getting boring and predictable when most of the times, the mc keeps winning, especially Miantang 😮‍💨 They should let the mc lost few times, then it'll be much more interesting to see them picked themselves up and have character development. By the end of the episode, I already can predict it's the mc's plan for the "fake poison" 😮‍💨

But maybe because this is romcom genre (my least fav), so it's not for me. But overall, I think this is quite an okay drama ^^

slow-paced drama and can be quite boring

Idk why I'm watching this, just scrolling the recommendations in the Netflix. All the main characters are very flawed except for Kitano and Lisa, I think these two are the most unproblematic, and maybe Ken too, ignoring the stabbing incident. And why did no one mention about how the fl cheated on her very nice boyfriend just for her ex crush way back in high school? 🤓 She didn't even feel guilty towards him. I also feel quite bad for Kitano and her bf 😮‍💨 And, the story is quite dragging, even for 6 episodes. I think the plot point is not that strong enough to make a drama. This might be good if this is a movie instead. But anyway, the fl is soo pretty heree, I think she looked prettiest without bangs ^^

One of the best written Jdramas!

I've just finished this after randomly watched this through my Netflix recommendations and I must say, it was really really good!! Didn't really expect to be hooked on this drama but frrrr, almost every episodes made you full of curiosity. This show is really intriguing and full of mystery, I really enjoyed this!!! And the actings are so so good!!!! The ml is so so charming! Especially, when he's back to himself, so I gotta listen to his deep voice hahaha and the fl is soo prettyy and really good too!! Yamaki and Riku made me frustrated a bit but they still helped the mc a lot hahaha and the Sexual-Hara detective was really annoying but I'm just still impressed how good of a detective he actually is, minus his dirty tricks lol this show has quite minor flaws and all of them are not really big, so I don't really have any issue with them. And I know this drama is already amazing as it is, but a little part of me hoping for something more of the mc(?) hehehe because I love their chemistry!!! They're more to platonic bond but lowkey hoping for something more especially, when the ml still wanted to protect her even when he'll be labeled as a murderer and also, the fl wanted him to just tell the truth even tho it means she'll get punished. Their bond is 🥹 Anyway, this might be one of the most well-written Jdramas, if not the number 1. So so recommended!!!

Absolutely love the main leads' chemistry!!

First of all, I've just finished this and I must say, I love all the cases!! They're all unique and interesting, and I believe it's also connected with the reality, so it's really good to know about them. The editing when they explained the cases are also so creative!! And this is my honest thought, the 2nd guy's character should've just ended at the 1st episode 🥲 I really didn't care about him. He didn't add anything super significant to the story, except for being their helper few times, in which I think, they still could've managed even without him. The romance is super duper unnecessary and quite annoying to have, especially when I'm super into the main leads' chemistry. And that's to say, Ishiko really seemed didn't care much about him. Like I say, the main leads' chemistry is so so so goodddd, you have no idea how much I love them 🥹🥲 They've developed a really close bond, in which they constantly opened up and being a huge emotional support to each other, in which, the romance is so forced. I also kinda like Haneo too, he's super nice and quite caring to Ishiko, and even to the 2nd lead (🙄). I love their bantering, the platonic love, but also, kinda wishing them to have something at the end (he even protected and encouraged her to retake the bar exam 🥹) The writer really loves messing with us and quite cruel, I must say 🥲 but overall, this might be one of my fav legal and Japan dramas 🫶🏻 truly hoping for season 2 huwaaaa 🫠 or at least, give me more of Kasumi and Tomoya pairing pretty pleaseee 😭 (their chemistry is my fav after Kasumi with Suda Masaki 🫢)

Good-to-watch purely for entertainment

I've seen some reviews about this drama before I write this and glad to see that most of them are the same with me. First of all, the drama is just nice. I mean, this story really has so many flaws and the writing is so bad, honestly. There were some ridiculous moments. And literally, Seo Kang Joon saved this. His chemistry with Jin Ki Joo is soo cuteee tho! Wish they had more moments tbh. And another good part is, the comedy is pretty fun and hilarious 😂😂 I laughed so many times, especially with his team lmao so guys, please watch this without any expectations and just give this a watch purely for Seo Kang Joon, the main leads' chemistry and the comedy and you won't be disappointed ☺️🤧

So so good and realistic

I actually watched this drama for Masaki Suda and Kasumi Arimura because I freaking love the pairing! Their chemistry is ughh 🩵🩵 But this drama is unexpectedly so so good!! It's not the usual type of drama and it's really realistic, so it might be not a cup of tea for some people but I love it! I learned a lot tho from this. This is really amazing becauss not so many drama portrayed the process of disbanding the group. The raw emotions and feelings felt so real. One of the things I love about Jdrama is their natural acting and no multiple angles. Sometimes, it feels like the three of them are really MacBeth, not just a fictional group. The way they joked around with each other, recalling their memories really felt so raw, I love it! 🥺🥺 Honestly, wish for the development of the main leads but the story is still good enough hehe definitely recommended for people who wanted to watch underrated and healing drama 🥰
