From my perspective LQ has been trying to find his mothers killer for so long obviously he was shocked when he learned that it could’ve been JBN’s father and there was possible evidence. While she was being guarded in the house LQ was actively searching for the maid to find out the truth and he defended JBN against his father several times. It’s very obvious that he still cares but wanted to push her away at first while he looked into the evidence so neither of them would get hurt. JBN on the other hand coldly abandoned their 5+ year marriage bc her dad might be the killer of LQ’s mother??? idk man, if my dad could’ve possibly been a killer i wouldn’t instantly defend him but maybe that’s just me. LQ has tried so hard to save their relationship but JBN could not care less

honestly seeing the leads together was the best part of this drama, now that they’re separated i gotta watch in 2x speed to not be bored. in the end i honestly wouldn’t be upset if li qian dies, baoning treats him so unfairly now, he deserves better

finally getting a little better with these last two eps. been staying away from any spoilers so i can only hope that there isn’t too much angst between baoning and li qian in the episodes to come…..

but can we talk about how He Cuihua knew a lot of the things Miaorong did but still said nothing like ??

zhao xiao is so delusional like just go back with your dad li qian does not care abt fighting with you oml. don’t even get me started on miaorong saying nothing when the only two people that care abt her got exiled bc of her

why do so many people feel the need to criticize jjy for her makeup/costume in dramas? they act like she isn’t being dressed by others according to how the character she’s playing should look

will be praying for miaorong‘s downfall while we wait for the next episodes

hope winwin being casted is not just a rumor, been waiting for historical actor dsc for about four years now. i’d love to see him act alongside jjy as well, she’s one of my fav idol actresses <3

i’ve never seen anything about this drama until i saw it yesterday while scrolling around the wetv app. i’m genuinely upset i didn’t find out about this drama sooner! the story was interesting, although it did drag on before the last two episodes i still think it was quite entertaining not to mention the whole cast was great. i also really liked that they added the clips of the cut scenes at the end of every ep. honestly the only major disappointment is that we were robbed of a wedding scene :/

this is honestly such a solid drama, definitely worth watching. the ost is god tier and the very last scene with their son killed me, it was so adorable

The first couple episodes were good but after like ep 10 i skipped through so much that i completely the remaining episodes in and hour. It gets so boring and the plot holes with the son are very annoying.
