That's a fantastic choice for you. It really is. But for my own metal health, I made a choice early in the pandemic that the media I consumed for fun would only have happy endings. With a few rare exceptions, I stuck to that. Do I miss out on some good stuff? Yes, absolutely. But i also don't spiral into sadness because of fiction. I don't think this makes me "weird people." I don't live in a fantasy world of "sunshine, rainbows, and kittens." My world is pretty hard and my entertainment helps me deal with that. I just thought your comment was unnecessarily harsh for those of us who enjoy lighter entertainment.
Or...perhaps we live in a world where really shitty stuff happens all the time and work life is incredibly stressful and as a queer person we would like to have a fantasy where everyone gets a happy ending. Just sayin'...
My understanding is that it hasn't been delayed again. It's been Aug 29th for awhile now, and actors have shared that date as well. Previously the show would air in Taiwan on a Sunday and then on Viki the following Wednesday. So...if it is shown on Aug 29th, then the ep is on Viki on Sept 1st. This is what I was expecting when I heard the Aug 29 date was official. Viki seems to confirm this with a "Available in 14 days" notice--which will be Sept 1st.
As of three days ago, Taiwan has lifted many of the Covid restrictions there. The case count has fallen dramatically, and they have met their vaccine goals early. So...hopefully filming has resumed!!
Its very common in Asian productions to film a few episodes in advance then film the rest whilst airing. Its called…
This is also common for American TV shows. If the show has a full season of more than 20 episodes, it is not finished filming before it starts airing. Usually, the production is only a few episodes ahead of the airdate. (This has begun to change somewhat with shorter seasons, COVID, etc. but in the traditional model of TV production, it's similar to the one you see with Love is Science.)
