Am I the only one who feels bad for the empress?
Her life is f***ed up because of the emperor, he acted like he liked her at the beginning then basically destroyed her, she wasn't evil from the start but being treated so badly she has turned evil.
Not to mention if we're talking evil Nyang is pretty ruthless herself.
And I cannot say how much I despite the Emperor for ignoring his "first born." I mean he doesn't know that he's not his child, so how can he be so cold to him? that's just unforgivable.

I cannot believe no one but me has been bothered by any of these points. It's amazing how much cruelty we tend to ignore/justify when we don't like/care about the person.

I've been so busy with school/research recently that I haven't watched many new dramas, I'm rewatching good doctor again and for the 2nd time Joo Won has caught me off guard with his amazing acting skills! he's definitely one of the most talented actors of all time!

Maybe it's just me, but V himself in V for Vendetta doesn't have much of character development, he doesn't really change much. When I think of V for Vendetta, I think of Natalie Portman and her story not V's.

In Contrast Gakistal is about Lee Kang To, his journey and his evolvement as a human being. I think Gakistal's character has much more depth and character development than V's, also it's has a higher level of psychological complexity.

Ok so I might be completely wrong here, but is Shim Ji Hye's child ( the one that's sick and she's receiving so many phone calls about) Kook Cheon Soo kid as well?

wow the last episode was a disaster ... a true example how 1 episode can destroy the whole drama!

I think that's the point, he doesn't care anymore ... it's when u're so in love that u don't care about anything anymore, u just care about the one u love, and she said she wanted to go somewhere quiet!

At first I was thinking like you but then I thought about the fact that he gave up on his life when he chose to stay. Considering that I think his actions were quite realistic, letting ppl see him disappear doesn't have any importance anymore.

about empress ki: first let me say I loved ur last comment (it was very honest and interesting)! I completely understand ur point of view, as for me I think it's basically something fundamental within me that if a person is good - well the definition of good is a little hazy! - , they should end up happy ! lol !

To be honest I'm not a fan of Wang Yoo at all !l! I like the fact that he's such a capable person, but I never liked him with Nyang, I felt like they don't match well together- not to mention the lack of chemistry- still I want him to get back his throne and to be powerful and happy.

I want Nyang to end up with the emperor and I'm desperately waiting for the emperor to grow up and be a man. It annoys me that he lacks so much ! well but he's very pure and bold so I have hope ! we'll see!

what about Nyang? she loved him, had his baby, but is it ok for her to go and love someone else and start a new life with someone else?

I think either they both have to love each other forever, or just be done with it and move on.

well I still have doubts about the emperor -- > I don't think he gained any points from me simply because he himself didn't do anything, everyone else came up with the ideas and they told him exactly what to do. He just listened to them. Not to mention he willingly lets Nyang use him for achieving her goals. If anything, he's just a good listener ( and listener is the nicest word I could come up with)

why would you want him to have a tragic end?! that's just saaad ! I want him to end up happy! :)

I'm pretty sure it will end well, I mean the tone of the drama is too light and happy for it not to have a happy ending!

ok episode 18 was hands down the most hilarious episode ever! loved it so much !! I have hope that the drama will end on a funny note as well :D !

when I was young, I used to read about the stupid useless kings, and I always thought to myself how can a king/emperor be so useless ... well now, thanks to Ta Hwan, I know very well how !!

Am I the only one who was utterly disappointed by the ending?
From the beginning the most problematic student, and the one who needed the most help was Jung Ho. So the fact that he was the only left out character at the end was very dissatisfying.

I feel like the story of Jung Ho is incomplete. He had a whole year ahead of him before he graduates and there was so much that the teacher could have done for him.
I mean so what did the teachers really do? They only helped the ones that were already making changes in their lives, the true challenge was to help Jung Ho which they failed at it.

Last ep was the definition of lazy writing! saying that his dad fell sick and he had to earn his living expenses was beyond stupid! They created a situation in the last 10 min that could use a whole new drama to unravel! I hate it the most when a show has potential but simply blows it away! so yeah.

I want his next project to be a different type of character. Not a student and someone who is not violent/angry all the time!! ^^

As for innocent man, this is one of those dramas that is loved by many but it just leaves me speechless as to why ppl love it so much. Like how did they not see all the plot holes! it def has amazing actors, but the story gets very very stupid. I think it's unforgivable for a story to become illogical to the point that I feel the director and the writers are underestimating my intelligence! and that's why I gave it 6/10. I mean it had some good parts and I loved their acting, so I basically didn't give it 5 because of the acting :D

I don't know if you've noticed or not, but I don't rate less than 5 ( Playful kiss was so bad that I had to make an exception) 5 basically means BAD but there still might be 1 single thing in it that I liked. 4 means super bad, horrifyingly bad, a mistake never to be made again. and 6 means bad, but there were scenes/episodes that I really enjoyed. So yeah!

Glad you enjoyed Nine, I loved Nine a lot, I know what you mean by it being slow in some scenes but it was very entertaining and unpredictable that I put a blind eye on the slow scenes :D. I loved the fact that it was so unpredictable and different!

I'm still watching Empress Ki. How I feel about it has changed a lot as I've watched more and more episodes: I loved it at first, don't exactly remember at what episode but somewhere between ep 7-9 it started to drag for me. I was basically giving up hope but I still watched it since I was curious as to how they get end up to where they are at the first few minutes of the first episode. I have to say it was extremely hard to keep watching it ! since it wasn't 1 or 2 episodes that was bad it was more that 10!! around episode 24-25 it started to pick up again, so now it's very entertaining and I'm enjoying watching it a lot.

I just finished rewatching this for the 5th time! I don't know what it is, but this drama is so special for me. It's not perfect, but still ... there is something in it that makes it very very dear for me! I love it so much!!!

it's amazing! It's probably one of the best movies i've ever watched! :D
