I just have no words for this drama - it is much BETTER than City Hunter!! The writing is incredibly tight, coherent,…
I don't know City Hunter is much darker than Healer, although they both have the batman feel to it, healer was never really batman, he was doing it for his own good, while City Hunter was trying to find the corrupt ppl in the city. Not to mention the background story of the main leads are very different (in the city hunter's case, it was much more extreme). so yeah, I like them both a lot, but I cannot say which one more.
Il Ri, with her indecisiveness and selfishness, not only has abused Hee Tae but KJ as well. she basically pushed both of them to the point of mental break down/momentary insanity. her stupid actions even had an effect on Hee Tae's mom and sister. to be honest, one reason for the mother to suddenly fall sick can be because of the shock she received when she heard of the news that Il Ri cheated on Hee Tae. So yeah, sorry for me not liking her, not understanding how others like her, and being completely annoyed by her. I was waiting all this time for her to realize it, to wake up, and I'm sooooo surprised that she kept going the same way, and kept ignoring all the signs, all the red flags, all the realities around her. If I knew it's gonna get this bad, I wouldn't have started this drama, but now that I'm 18 episodes in I'll just finish it. so yeah, I just had to rant ...
Ok I take everything I said in my previous comment back ... yeah the writers have srsly lost it ... never in my entire drama addiction I have seen such an illogical, annoying and stupid character as Il Ri ... I was trying my best to ignore her but the writers are here to make history ...
does she really have affair like it says in the description? or it has more than this?
holding hands means holding hands, and they brought the shoes inside since it was snowing outside and it was getting into their shoes ... Also, they were sleeping with a few feet apart from each other, while only "holding hands", not to mention this is a korean drama, and in korean dramas ppl don't easily sleep together.

short answer yes, she does have an affair, both physical and emotional affair. But if you define affair as having sex, then no she doesn't sleep with the guy. (well at least not yet ... )
As much as Il Ri's character bothers me, I'm really enjoying this drama. It's kind of strange how the writers who are doing such a great job for the rest of drama, make such a stupid, illogical, wishy washy character -Il Ri- as their main character.
Don't get me wrong, I'm ALL FOR smooches and kisses... especially when it's that hot bastard SeGi... I just didn't…
@VioletSakura did u forget the first (or was it second) episode in which Ri Jin was actually attracted to Se Gi? When Se Gi was waiting for Ri Jin to come down, even though she was protesting, at the end she was actually a little excited to go with Se Gi who was waiting for her in front of the hospital, but then Se Gi turned to Do Hyun and he left her. Also, we saw how bothered she was when Se Gi/Do Hyun suddenly left. So I think at first she was attracted to Se Gi, but then she got attracted to Do Hyun and now she's confused!
how is this possible? how can each episode be so damn perfect!!! I'm srsly obsessed with this drama ... every Tuesday I start having withdrawal problems! ahhhhhh 힐러 why u so damn daebak
As someone who loves both Jdramas and Kdramas (haven't watched enough Tdramas to proclaim love, though I really enjoyed the ones that I did watch), I've seen all these trends going both ways.
For example, I've seen Jdrama fans making very generalized statements such as Kdramas have no depth, or that they cannot really do anything but romance and stuff like that. As for the remakes, I think it's normal to compare, but it becomes a problem when the comparison gets out of hand. Just take a look at Tomorrow's cantabile (Nodame contabile's Korean remake) and see how many ppl compared it to the Japanese version, ppl started the comparison before it even started airing, and continued to compare it through out each episode.
As for the language and the beauty ones, I think it simply comes from ignorance.
So yeah, I think this is kind of like racism, it exists and it's naive to think only one group has racism tendencies. What we should do is to stop being racist and to open our horizons :D (well, not that favoring one country's dramas and bashing the other means one is racist, but you get what I mean)
