to be honest, KJ is the only character that I can follow his thought process. He knows what he wants, he sees a chance for achieving it and so he's going for it. What I'm criticizing here is Il Ri, and the stupid route the story is taking.
just to be clear Seo Bum Jo won't go to jail, he'll be taken into custody and there will be a court where they will decide to send him to jail or not. And the chances of him going to jail is actually pretty low, cause he has to be able to prove that he really did what he says he did, just his words are not enough.
That aside, I'm very proud of him. He made a very hard decision, he could've simply given the documents/recordings ( that is before his mom took them from him) to the cops and turn his mom in, but he chose not to. Instead, by sacrificing himself he created the last opportunity for his mom to to show repentance. to come up with such a decision and actually carrying it out is very very impressive. So yeah my hat's off to him!
I'm wondering either he has personality disorder or he got a superpower...since it has no fantasy genre in this…
I agree, the changes are just absurd. As other ppl have mentioned before, Ji Sung is doing an amazing job, so we don't really need the physical changes: i.e. tattoos and the visual effects. To be honest, I feel like that's a poor judgment from the director, and it really does decrease from the value of the drama.
I think I just have to express my deep love for the Ahjumma!!!! She's soooo amazing!<3 I love her floral pattern pants, her wavy her, the absurd way she cooks/eats her food, but most of all I love how she truly cares for Jung Hoo. I really do hope for a scene with her and Healer meeting face to face!
On a side note : I think the Ahjumma will start having a bigger role. I might be reading too much into this, but in the first episode, during the flash back, when they are ending their radio broadcast (after they've ran away from the cops) they say that they are looking for Min Ju. according to viki, Min ju can represent democracy, but it can also be a name. I don't know but the first time I heard Ahjumma's name (Min Ja), I though I've heard it before and then I remembered it was in the first episode. That and the fact that the teacher has such a strong bond with the Ahjumma, makes me feel like she's known the 5 from the beginning.

And then she goes grocery shopping, makes dinner and has a dinner/date with Kim Jun. She obviously knows Kim Jun loves her, and she keeps saying she doesn't want to be with him, so why is she doing that? why is she abusing his feelings ?
and the whole change of husband's attitude toward Il Ri was ridiculous, like after watching that video he figured she loves him, started to see it from her point of view, remembered how much he loved her, and so he wanted her back, I get that. But then when she started acting absurd and saying she won't go back since now she's been "hurt" that even if he forgives her, now she's too hurt to go back ... and then she invited the other guy to have tea with her at night. AND the husband still wanted her to come back?!? ... like r u f***ing kidding me, what kind of universe are the writers living in?

Everything about the first 2 episode seems great, except the appearance and disappearance of his tattoos ... I mean he has different personalities, not super power ...
After Heirs I kind of gave up on park shin hye, and doctor stranger was a disaster so lee jong suk kind of lost his credibility for me. So I really thought I won't watch pinocchio, but then I decided to give it a chance, since there is such a hype for it. AND I'm happy I did so, it's a good drama ! Park shin hye has grown so much as an actress, and Lee jong suk is charming me again. I hope they don't forget/mess up the brother's subplot though
You know, I don't buy the whole, oh she was so young when she got married and she's still young hence it's natural for her to want to experience argument. She was 25 when the husband came back and had 7 full years to find someone else. The fact that she still liked the husband when he came back after 7 years doesn't mean the husband was holding her back all those 7 years, in fact anyone who has ever experienced any kind of love knows 7 years being apart (not to mention in this case with no contact) is toooooo long for the love to stay the same (specially since they knew each other for what? a year before that?!). So yeah, the fact that she didn't experience any other love in those 7 years, is cause she was too delusional thinking he was her destined one and didn't even give herself the chance to find another love. And saying that she's still too young, she's 32 years old for God's sake! she's NOT a young adult anymore!! so yeah ... the more I watch the drama the more annoyed I get with her character, she doesn't want to understand others she wants them to understand her! She still doesn't think she did anything wrong, she's like oh I felt something for another guy, and since my husband was the only one for me since I was 18 I was allowed to feel it and to give it a chance. AND let me add this she's just confused, one minute she tells the husband that she's never doubted that he was her soulmate, the next minute she says that she has given "half" of her heart to the other guy and hence leaving only half of her heart to her soulmate a.k.a the husband!!

you're first sentence took the words out of my mouth! I also love MDL, but this is soooo lame! I mean it's beyond lame ... Viki's award was simply ridiculous! But you know even the korean awards is mostly based on how popular a show is and not necessarily how valuable it is. So yeah!
Wanna watch it - is it any good? I like the cast but 50 episodes -- damn so many... dunno. Please help!
hmmmm, well half (almost all to be honest) of the characters are immature thinking they're very mature and are always correct ... so it gets hard at times to continue watching it, I'm still watching though it since I happen to like one of the characters.
It's nothing grant, it's rather simple, no fancy screenwriting/music/directing, story becomes a little annoying at times, and as I mentioned the characters do a lot of stupid stuff, but at the core of it all you see how they truly love each other, which is very endearing to watch. so yeah ... not sure if that helped but yeah :D

Yeah, I'm the same as you, I was trying to see it from her point of view and understand her, but the moment she told him she loves them both I lost all sympathy for her. I guess you're right, maybe in the next few eps we will get to understand her more ... well, we'll see
