Based on tweets before where their last filming (?) was said to be in a courtroom wherein haein isn't wearing her ring, I assume this would be the trial for either hyunwoo/eunsong/sulhee and haein is yet to recover her memories?
Sung Hoon mentioned in an interview that the tail end of the series would be so good that he was shocked upon reading the script hehe but so far am too shocked too that the writer have included all possible cliche tropes into the drama π
Main leads' acting is definitely the saving grace of the most recent episodes
Personally, if the storyline focused on the rediscovery of the leads' love and haein's illness minus the thriller/makjang elements, the series could've been much much better.
This was actually what the first 6 episodes mostly gave us, which made me so into the story.
Too bad that some of the conflicts/issues between the leads and the family were not fleshed out, (e.g., when haein said that she was miserable in their marriage too, we know that but they could've shown us more about her struggles and how miserable she was) because the second half mostly focuses on the villain's scheme.
Hope the writers could give us a satisfying ending.
Honestly am a bit disappointed since I sincerely hope that this drama won't turn out to be one of those that'll go downhill towards the end. But seems like the plot got a little bit all over the place, and there are a little too many plotholes that one can't overlook
Nevertheless, those emotional scenes and the leads' acting prowess are the reasons why this remains a top-notch drama
Friend we already had the memory loss plot in the drama π€ so why are u lowkey surprised though.
I think what she's referring to is the loss of "all" memories unlike what we've seen so far, e.g., disorientation, short term memory loss, and inability to recognize a person, which is a common plot device for dramas in the past.
But I do agree that the possibility of "total loss of memory" is something that we can already expect from this drama, given that there's already foreshadowing of it from the earlier episodes, and we have seen how Haein's illness gradually progressed throughout the episodes.
Although personally, what could possibly feel unsatisfying is if Haein would really lose all her memories then the last scene in the final episode would be of her finally recovering them. I hope (and I do believe, given that this drama already veered away from cliche tropes a number of times) this would not be the case.
I have this uneasy feeling, like, as much as I love this drama, something's bothering me with how the story is turning out that I can't seem to point out. I don't know if this has something to do with the writing or the execution of the plot, or it's just that there's a lot of conflicts that are yet to be resolved given that we're down to the last 3 episodes. Or maybe I've already become too attached to the drama that I feel anxious that I might not become satisfied with how the remaining episodes will turn out? I'm not sure. Does anybody feel the same way, too?
Hope that haein recovering her memories won't happen in the last 5 to 10 mins of the final episode π₯Ί, assuming that she will indeed lose her memories
That "kamchagiya" of haein as hyunwoo rushed to clean his apartment is totally different from the tone of her "kamchagiya" when she found out hyunwoo was in her room (when hyunwoo went to delete his sister's message to haein) in ep4.
It definitely was an adlib by soohyun and jiwon's reaction is real π
