On douban, 4-5 rating usually means a bad drama. 6 is ok, 6.5 is good, 7+ is really good. Da feng is facing criticism everywhere not just douban though. 7 sponsors pulled out because of bad ratings. Even aiyifan has a 6.4 rating. I tried it myself, unfortunately didn’t like it very much so I agree with the douban rating. But it’s a very fresh male lead so I can see why people like it.
