She has deep issues to resolve.
The male lead accompanies the female lead to revisit her past, in order for her to write her latest book "My Marvelous Fable." Her book is an anthology of short stories that somehow reveal a little of her past. They are portrayed in a style similar to "Twilight Zone." 📚
She has deep issues to resolve, especially with her ex-husband, who is psychotic. Because of her past, she finds it hard to love and trust a man again. Therefore, she self-sabotages any possibility of a relationship with the male lead. This causes the male lead large concern, and he can't take her anymore. But his heart is strangely drawn to her. 💜
He is the type who feeds stray cats, does good deeds, and is very caring. He works as her editor in fulfillment of his friend's bucket list.
At first, it seems this is a comedy, but soon delves into hard lessons about discontent, greed, guilt, and domestic abuse. If you are prepared for it, then you may find this is depicted well, unfolds interestingly and has beautiful scenery.
I would say it's a good noona romance, and the ending is resolved nicely. Miles brings his acting chops as he does in every drama I have seen with him in it. It certainly deserves nine stars, and if you like suspense, you may even give it ten stars. 🌟
