Ep 29 the CP was just trying to get a word from DZY that she cares for him. The same thing in EP 31 when CP got out of jail - he was looking for her. Alas she was hiding behind the wall. She cares but doesn't want to give him hope.

Ep 28 was heartbreaking - to see the Crown Prince carrying the souls of 80,000 loyalist soldiers representing the nation on behalf of his cowardly father. The pain on Han Ye 's face made it a torturous watch - and that walking barefoot part.
