It was negative. You assumed they didn’t like this show because they only watch romcoms that you can turn your brain off for. It’s fine to disagree with them, but they’re not wrong in saying that what you said was disrespectful and had nothing to do with their feedback of the show and everything to do with them as a person.

it’s pretty gory/bloody in my opinion

it’s up to you but i didn’t mind that character type in this drama. at least there’s a reason for it this time, and it does start to go away, especially after the first arch focused on the sect competition. this drama is one of my favorites of all time so i definitely think it’s worth continuing, but it’s also understandable if you can’t get over her characterization.

you don’t have to like the grandmother, but is it really true adultery if he left her for 10 years and never contacted her? he could have been dead for all she knew

not really, there is some undertones of romance with the high school characters and some tension between the ml and fl, but I wouldn’t say there’s any romance
