I agree that the issue is dragging on too long and they could have dealt with things differently, but this show…
Definitely! It could have been good but they didn't know where to focus the plot so it just ended up frustrating to watch (at least in my opinion). But then I keep watching because some parts of it are good and also I'm curious as to how they're going to end it.
Is it me or the story could have ended in 16 episodes or max 20. I’m really enjoying the show and Kim Jung Hyun…
I agree that the issue is dragging on too long and they could have dealt with things differently, but this show was always going to be longer because of its genre (it's a weekend family drama)
ML remembers who FL is, but pretends he doesn't know her? 2ML asked ML in ep 3 or 4 if he remembers her, and ML…
To be honest, I'm not 100% sure, but I think he genuinely doesn't remember her and it probably has something to do with the incident he doesn't remember from 10 years ago
At the beginning of the drama it was a bit boring, but after trying to continue watching... it turned out to be…
to explain snn and ch, it seems they gradually grew fond of each other because they had a shared interest in astronomy and because through the livestreams ch got to see a different side of her (she goes against the stereotypes of what people might think an actress would be like). still, the development of their relationship wasn’t really shown on screen too much
Are these weekend dramas going back to 50 episodes? I thought the new amount was supposed to be ~30. We'll have to see if this is a good or a bad thing as 50 episodes is great when done right but drags and disappoints when it isn't planned well (and unfortunately most have fallen in the latter category of late). The cast is promising though!
i never watched a weekend kdrama so I want this to be my first cause its only 36 eps is it worth watching?
it's hard to say right now as there are only 2 episodes out, but if you're interested give it a try! You can always watch the first few episodes to get the vibe and see if weekend dramas or this one in particular work for you!
One thing that doesn't add up for me is how Jindan and his mom have access to so much money. Where's the company's…
maybe it’s because he’s from a chaebol family so using large amounts of money doesn’t seem crazy? but withdrawing instead of using a credit card and paying for something with in a way that made a record would be suspicious so you’re right
is this series more comedy? Not sure how I feel about the teaser.
It's labeled as a black comedy so far but we'll have to see how it plays out. Since it's a weekend family drama it will likely be somewhat over the top and dramatic as well.
Parts of this were promising and really fun, but it just feels like it's dragging on right now. Hopefully we get movement towards closure in these upcoming episodes because I will be so mad if characters like BMJ and HAK continue to seemingly get away with everything (I know that BMJ's children have disowned her but she needs even more punishment and something to keep her away from them indefinitely).
while i personally don’t find her roles monotonous, i can see where you’re coming from. that being said, this role isn’t really like those others, so you don’t have to be worried about that if that was holding you back from watching
