Script was not fair to Wang Yilun
I began watching this because of Zhao LuSi. I have a tendency to stick to a drama unless is truly bores me to death or I accidentally read someone's spoiler and find out a character I like dies (hello, POB and JTL) Anyway, I kept wondering why the ML was so stone-faced. Just didn't seem right.
I have since seen Wang Yilun in other dramas where his character smiles a lot and is humorous. He fits that style of drama much better than this one.
I definitely feel the ending could have been written better. But at least we got an opportunity to turn it into whatever we wanted. He did respect her desire to go alone to Japan by not getting on the plane even when he was called three times on the overhead speakers.
