Ah okay xD. Have to say I feel a bit disappointed now...I was hoping to find out what kind of courses you would take for an Asian media major!

How did you decide on Japanese Language? Just curious because you have Egypt listed as your location.

All I can really say is you should definitely stop through Beijing - it will probably take at least a few days to get through everything there. So much history and things to see in that area (Summer Palace, Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, Yuan Ming Yuan, Olympic Bird's Nest/Water Cube, etc). I'm not sure exactly who you will be travelling with or your particular interests, but I would actually recommend the Beijing Zoo XD. I went for kicks and was fairly surprised by the size of it.

Just be prepared for probably some of the worse on-road driving and manners you will ever see though. It makes LA traffic look nice and civil. I think I heard more horns in one day there than I ever heard in my entire life :|. Take care crossing streets, I usually just followed other people when crossing, because quite frankly, I still have no idea how to cross the street there as sad as it may sound.

Haha, I can back you up on that last statement. I just recently came back from HK a few weeks ago. They were airing quite a few of Leslie Cheung's stuff on TV in honor of his 10th death anniversary. It was quite nice to see the oldies :D.

Pretty random. I tend to marathon, so I never watch things bit by bit meaning currently airing dramas are never an option for me :(.

Oooh nice :D. I agree this place isn't the most exciting place, but still, new environment to look around xD. I traveled through China and HK for about a month before flying into Singapore.
