Totally feel you! Its always so bitter when a show is SO good and then gets lost. I stopped watching kdramas (at least those long shows with 12/16 episodes) because of this. 😂 In my case, I firstly avoided the show because i found out that there are no kisses and at this time i wasnt interested. And when i finally gave it a chance, i was sooo happy that it was so good. And the ending had me like: 💀
seems like you barely keep track of all the japanese dramas that got released. Otherwise you would know how diverse the dramas are, that got released. Sure, Japan has this category of short dramas that are adapted from josei mangas, but japan has so much more to offer. ^^
i only watched 2 episodes, but instantly got bored when the straight couple entered the scenery. its sad that we have waited so long for this adaption, just for it to turn out exactly like the majority of us feared it. nice job.. if u want a straight story, adapt a straight manhwa, its not that hard. x.x why do people keep thinking its a great idea to adapt bls and straightwash them? just for ignorant people to pop up and say "oh its so realistic bc in the real world its also not only about gay people being gay" blah blah blah, i dont watch dramas for them to be realistic and imagine a straight work is adapted into a BL and the main couple gets sidelined? i can imagine how people would be furious about it.

I will never shut up about the sidecouple in Only Boo!! Usually i really dont care much for the side couples. Most of the time they arent mentioned in the synopsis, so I watch the show for the main couple and some times the side couple is a nice addition, sometimes they just bore me. But damn, I am still mad to this day that the Only Boo boys didnt get more screentime! I want to see more of them so so badly!
The most recent side couple I enjoyed is from My Dearest. I havent finished Part 2 and I didnt see much of them together, but the guy is so adorable and madly in love, its just cute over 9k.
I loved The New Employee, which is written by the same author (and shares the filming location!) and I was already hyped for this drama without knowing this. :D I was wondering why the vibe is sooo similarly, so i looked it up. I enjoyed episode 1 a lot! the ost is great, the vibe is this typical classic KBL vibe, which i totally adore and the acting is good so far, too. c:
