I don't understand why the FL instantly got heartbroken when she saw the ML with his ex in the lobby. She only JUST discovered her feelings for him, plus the whole show. She's been stuck on her ex, and in the episode before, she realized she wasn't truly over him. These episodes seem rushed...
i like esther yu , but god i wish she would drop that aegyo voice for once or would have a deeper role in wich…
I low-key have to agree. I've just started watching dramas with Esther Yu because of the voice she uses. It took me a minute to try to ignore it for the sake of the shows she's in, like 'Love Game in Eastern Fantasy.' That drama was so good, but I do wish to see her in future roles without this voice. I do believe she would do well in a mature role.
I'm on ep 6 it's great so far.. I couldn't help but notice this show reminds me so much of the Disney movie 'Cloud 9' There are sooo many similarities.
This drama is so cute and funny. I love it when they make Romcom adult dramas, especially after watching crazy plot-twisting dramas it's fun to watch a not-so-serious drama to even it out. EP1 had me dying when Ban Ju showed up at the meeting, trying to act older than his age. I love it so far. I'm glad they're giving us an FL who has a backbone and isn't letting anybody bully her.
Even though this show is kinda good, I truly hate that they keep pushing for the FL lead to hate her father...…
and for god sakes can the ML mother shut up! She also has no reasons to hate the FL, you can talk to her dad perfectly fine but you just hate her so much for just being her mothers daughter something she can't control! If that's the logic she going by why doesn't the FL dad hate the ML? why? because its not their fault! she irks me!!!
Even though this show is kinda good, I truly hate that they keep pushing for the FL lead to hate her father... Like am I the only one who doesn't think he's in the wrong? Like they haven't shown him truly doing something for you to be like "I hate this guy" Like I understand her mother died... This lady was having a whole affair THAT YOU KNEW ABOUT BECAUSE SHE WOULD TAKE YOU ALONG WITH HER... You even wished at one point that the guy she was cheating with was your father! But you hate your actual father? Because he was late picking you guys up?! I don't understand her. I don't know. Maybe I don't remember old episodes, but like, he hasn't done anything? Plus, he tried many times to fix their father-daughter relationship, and she declined every time.
Plus they are dragging the main lead's issues like it's the only plot holy.
I see why people say C-drama romances are so ruthless while K-dramas sugarcoat them. I felt like I was watching…
I know that but, when it comes to endings where you have to use your imagination or "assume". It irks me that they couldn't just show that being the actual ending
NOO WAY I JUST WATCHED 40 EPS FOR THAT TO BE THE ENDING?!?!?!WTF?!
I see why people say C-drama romances are so ruthless while K-dramas sugarcoat them. I felt like I was watching the anime 'Akame ga Kill' all over again, but in live action, the way they managed to kill off every character, even the main characters!! Midway through the first 15 episodes, I was like, okay, there are a lot of deaths, but they're mostly bad people. Then I hit episodes 20-40, and I was like, WTF?!?! Everyone is dropping like flies, but they slip in cute scenes to make it look like a romance is still in the plot.!?!
The show is amazing, I loved the romance scene. I'm glad Bai Shuo forgave Chang Zhao, and She found her sister. I understand everything happened for a reason but holy at the same time those were so many deaths I had to pause midway to soak it in because they move on from the deaths in 1 ep! Mu Ji dying I was like?!?! but then Zang Shan??!? and to finally make me hate the ending they kill off everyone else. and have the ending be Bai Shuo and Fan Yue meeting in heaven... and pisses me off with the frozen "the end" fonts after kissing
I love this drama, but episode 28-29, Jiang, low-key irked me. Yeah, Wen Peng's actions aren't justified, but of course, he would have some hatred toward you. His mom left without taking him, leaving him with his abusive father. Finally, he saves up enough money to find his mom and sees she has started a new family with someone else's kid. I'd hate everyone involved, too! Not only that the girl he created a bond with because she saved him from being suicidal loves you!!!, 2 people he cared about so far he lost to the same person. Like, and everyone keeps rubbing it in his face that Lu Yan is with Jiang and not him. But they call themselves his "friend" Not to mention they always ditch him every time he wants to hang out. I'm sorry but if I was around these people I wouldn't grow up as a upholding citizen either.
FL is so used to being single and had planned the rest of her life being single. In addition to her hobbies she…
Yes, it is realistic for her to have doubts but I feel like that should been discussed and squashed in earlier eps. The last 2 eps made that look so out of place when you look at the little progress she had to only backtrack almost. We get more doubting scenes and him with other people and only 2 eps of them being a couple if we can even count that as 2. Sometimes a disagreement isn't needed before the season finale so that they can have a happy ending...
This show was alright, I wish they didn't have her almost chicken out on the LITERAL LAST 2 EPS. We understand she doesn't think she can get married they let us know the whole show, but the scene was honestly not needed at all... She declares she likes him, They went on an entire date smiling ear to ear, and you're telling me on the way home she's thinking it won't work?!?! He poured his whole heart out and she just repeated the same tired sob story of her not thinking she could change her way of living(which was just hobbies she could still do) Way to drag it out...
Do they call anyone who isn't royalty-poor? They kept saying the FL lead came from a poor family but when the FL and ML went to her hometown her house did not scream poor at all. That house was too big for them to be "poor"
