Yes same actor. He seems like he is neutral/not a bad guy as he is indebted to ye li for saving him in the past. The actor isn't playing a psychopath in this one...more like a comedic character lol

no problem! I am on episode 7 atm and I will say I have not got bored a single moment yet

very good and I don’t think the politics is messy but there is definitely political turmoil and ml/fl trying to get revenge on corrupt officials that killed their families.

I have not gotten into k-dramas in a while but I watched the first two episodes and they were sooo so good!

I thought that too about married before :( I think he was just upset and jealous because he told his guy family members it was deep love at first sight but actually it was just one sided (I think she felt that way too but since they said his nephew saved her initially his nephew took her attention in that way)

Maybe aware about his nephew but I think he seriously thought him and the FL was deep love at first sight by what he was telling the men in his family…which maybe it was on the FL’s end as well but she did not know it yet. She mainly had admiration for his nephew because she thought he was the one that saved her initially.

I do agree it is one of the best I have seen in a c-drama too

I like everything about this drama except the writing of some of the characters including important ones like ye xian and Chen Xuan Qing. If not for that would be easy 10/10 for me.

I really like this show and it gets better I do admit I skipped some scenes about the second male lead and some outer family drama when those dragged but nothing crazy. I say totally worth for the romance though it is GOOD….probably starting around episode 6 or so

I took a break around episode 17 for a few months almost dropping it and decided to get back to it and I binged it hard. It gets so good!! The love triangle type stuff was getting on my nerves before I stopped (just not my thing) but I am glad I decided to come back and stick with it.
