Why would the main lead who is the Protagonist in this kind of drama be a bad person? 😃
that wasn’t his choice as her husband either…if they are watching the show they would find out it is her own family that forces their women to be illiterate and imprisoned xD
Question for all. Do you guys think Lin Jin Qi is a bad person?
no he isn’t. he was a child/teenager and wanted to warn the female lead and her family. he had no choice in the matter and is doing everything he can to not be a puppet to his and his current wife’s family.
Nothing. We know it's coming. The question is how are we gonna get there b/c he's very unlikable right now and…
It is one of the big parts of the drama so I am not sure why you guys would watch knowing this. He will no doubt be a huge help in figuring out what really happened and redeem her family with her. Sometimes by fate good people are born into bad families.

why should we judge him by something his family did that he personally was against and had no choice in because he was just a teenager/child? he also fights against being a puppet to his family and who he married politically by joining the army instead of being a controlled scholar and it is hinted he was the one who possibly received her family members to give them a proper place to rest
It's none of what you said. The plot flows logically in fact. Better to watch it by yourself, 2 episode is enough…
I do agree the summary does not do this show justice at all! 100% I was not sure if I was going to enjoy it at all but I gave it a chance because I am a huge fan of Liu Xue Yi and I was pleasantly surprised
Best new drama I have seen in months. I know people keep saying it is slow paced in the comments, but I think all of us agree we like it and cannot wait for the next episode because the plot is so good rather than it being boring.
I haven't started watching this yet but based on the summary, is it true that her fiancé abandoned her when she…
It is complicated. They were both still teenagers and his family was at risk of being killed. He did not want to abandon her and her family and even spoke up "Shouldn't we warn them? What about her and her family?" and his grandfather refused. It is also hinted that he might have been the one to receive her family's bodies and give them a proper place to rest. So it is both yes and no. He was underage and his whole family was at risk they left him no choice. So far he seems like a good guy in a shady family. He fought against their wishes though and does not want to be a puppet so he joined the army instead of being a controlled scholar.
apparently they will but I think it’s in the later episodes… I can tell the ml is falling for her but the…
Yeah pretty sure it is basically hinted that she has always liked the young boy (she had his paintings all over her room according to her friend) that saved her and it turned out to be him and she is happy about it X3
I have been in a total drama slump….💔🥺
