The first kiss wasn’t really their first kiss though 😅 she had some bad mushrooms and was hallucinating so she kissed him lightly but he was shocked and not even fully aware of his own feelings yet. Their first real kiss is in episode 19 and it is an actual hardcore makeout session. Much more than most dramas ever get

imo he did not cheat on her explicitly, but he needed to set some boundaries and was still doing his wife wrong. Like when he gave her the complimentary gift cup after going to that cafe/restaurant with the girl who kissed him, forgetting her birthday, etc.
Is this a good show to try cdrama romance? Or is there better?
This is my personal favorite of all time and I only watch shows with romance in them. As the other user said though, it is personal preference. Some ships click with one person but not another.

This is true too. Sometimes we all have certain ships we just don’t click with. Honestly that is me with pursuit of Jade that tons of people super love and rave about the ship in that one. I watched the whole thing and it was definitely a great drama with a great story…but through the whole thing I never really felt much vibe or connection with the lead romance 😅

I stopped early like you did when it was airing then was bored after some time passed and needed something to watch so I continued it and it became one of my top favs. I highly recommend giving it another try

In general it seems most people are taking this pretty well. Right for her to be mad and what he did was wrong, but it is hilarious to watch and we know it will clear up
the preview for the next episode at the end of the latest one released shows her giving him a coat to wear that her mom made for him even though he said “I am not cold atm”. She took it out anyway and made sure to show him and he changes his mind real quick realizing what it was lol

she didn’t like scholar Han like that but her parents approved and he was going through the right route to marry her. Lin came out of nowhere and gave no choice because it was a decree. Also, it is bringing back memories to the day her family died because they called off the engagement that day and when she moved with her adopted parents he got married to someone else and it was another stab to her heart. She has every right to be upset.
