I thought the same thing. In the very first episode he falls asleep on the floor and Takeru picks him up and carries…
yes! sho takes such a good care of naoki and he does anything naoki asks without question. and their argument in the last few episodes feel like a lovers' quarrel doesn't it 🤠episode 9 is such a treat for us haha
perfect. 10/10. no notes. very binge-worthy. incredible acting from all the cast but i have to give props to shiraishi sei and how she made reina a terrifying villain in the last few episodes.
i know people might have wanted a more grand proposal but i feel like what we got here is more true to misa and wataru's characters. the jp version was never going to make things over the top and fantastical. since the beginning it's always been more grounded in reality and more mature, which I love.
once again I regret not waiting until all episodes are released haha the waiting game is gonna be torturous!!!! and Satoh Takeru locked tf in and acted his ass off in episode 8. What a great actor. Actually i feel like all of the actors did such a great job portraying different emotions in ep 8! I already can't wait for next week!!!
My take on episode 8 ending: So guys (and ladies), if you’ve been paying close attention to the convo between…
agreed! I believe he made his abrupt, almost out of character decision the moment Misa said she needed to end her life to save Sumiyoshi's. He probably panicked when he heard that and already decided to do something just as drastic as Misa planning her suicide so he could find a way to alter everyone's fate.
I hope this drama gets more recognition! People should really give this drama a chance. The writing, character development, cinematography, and the chemistry between all actors are incredible. The revenge part may not be as vindictive as the other versions but personally I feel like Misa's journey to become a more confident person who recognizes her value and worth is a lot more satisfying to watch.
