I have a feeling sokp might squeeze everything under 40 episodes. It might be risky to split it into 2 seasons with long gaps...because who knows if the regulations change for the worse in the 12 months

I'm at ep 7 and have been stuck there for over a week. Does the drama get better? Right now for me the characters aren't interesting at all 😅. I started Lucky's First Love since I'm on a FnE slump. It's been a breezy, easy watch and I'm enjoying it but im already thinking of what Bai Lu drama to watch next. Should i give FnE another chance or just move on?

I watched A Dream of Splendor and The Ingenius One. Highly rec both, esp A Dream of Splendor. Both are costume drama and he sizzles in both. With Bai Lu she has this maturity about her that I think makes her being paired with older actors feel natural. Also, since Chen Xia is married already there'll be less headache with his fans 😆

OMG I thought the same thing 😆. YY is a gorgeous man but somehow his costume drama looks doesn't do him justice. Bai Lu on the other hand I might prefer her look in period costume.
Ohh right! And Fall season would match the drama better visually too like you said. Better to watch Bai Lu and Dylan in coats and trenchcoats in Fall than in Summer LOL. It's been so hot this summer that I think watching people in coats would make me feel hotter 😆
