A must-watch for those who like vampires and BL's.
SPOILERS! This series is seriously so good! One of my recommendations for people who are new to watching BL. I have not seen one this well-made in a long time. Everything, down to the smallest detail, was phenomenal: the plot, acting, and budget. It seemed to have been put together amazingly. I especially love the NC scene at the end of episode 8, how Tong did not allow Mark to push him away this time. He stayed and helped Mark. The amount of genuine trust he held for him in that moment, even knowing that if Mark had lost control, he would not be able to fight or run away in time. The acting in that scene was so well done, I mean every detail of it. I keep replaying it. I can feel all the emotions through the screen, so that's how you know the acting was thought out well, and many things were taken into consideration. I knew it had a happy ending going in, but watching the final episode when Tong died made me tear up, and when Mark was crying over his body made the tears fall from my eyes. My brain would not comprehend the fact that the series is going to have a happy ending. Not to mention the part where Nakan stabbed Mark's neck, I genuinely believed he betrayed him. I will say, though, the last few minutes of the final episode did seem a bit rushed; however, the overall experience of the series completely outweighs the ending. The production did seem well and not like it had a low budget at all. And we cannot forget to talk about the OST "Closer"? IT'S SO GOOD. I've already replayed it multiple times, and it's on my playlist currently, where it's going to stay. I will for sure be recommending this to anyone looking to get into BL because it's a perfect balance and blend of the plot and the BL aspect. Amazing!
