i feel like im one of the only ones that is actually happy with the pacing of this show lol i honestly hate it when BLs are 11 episodes of weird drawn out pining and then suddenly BAM! episode 12 they get together and the show ends, its works in some stories but most the time it just feels like filler episodes.
i don't think Lu Zi Gang excepting sun bos feelings was too sudden, from the small amount we have seen of him he obviously had at least some feelings for him and he has seemed extremely lonely and dejected by love so having someone finally be the one pursuing him and telling him that he will be loved is going to be a big deal. also calling the way Xiang Hao Ting kissed Yu Xi Gu unacceptable is hilarious like seriously? it was a gently peck on the lips, he didn't push him for more, he didn't hold him in place, he didn't force Xi Gu it was one of the least creepy first kisses in BL ive ever seen some of y'all are just pressed about everything.
sun and mork are honestly the cutest couple ever and they aren't even a couple yet! i'm really enjoying their story and development and it's so nice to see a BL pairing that isn't one person actively pursuing a (straight) guy but instead to people just slowing coming together.
that being said i am actually full on skipping chunks of pete/kaos story because its so boring and cliche, the writing is terrible the story line is boring and while tay and new decent actors they have zero romantic chemistry together they honestly seem more like brothers then boyfriends and the directors decision to show zero intimacy between them really isn't helping.
Please spill the tea sis! What rumors I wanna know!
there are just some baseless rumours going around that newwie has a girlfriend and it affected his relationship with Tay, they probably aren't true but if they are having a girlfriend shouldn't effect your acting thats all.
Kiss me again didn't fully focusing their everyday struggling, since they weren't leading pair. Kao struggling…
maybe their story will get better but they aren't really showing much of that in my opinion, so far Pete has been ridiculously over literally nothing and acting like he owns Kao and Kao just seems unable to talk about things like a adult, like i said i'm more here for Sun/Mork and everyone is allowed their own opinion :}
I really liked kiss me again, it wasn't exactly groundbreaking but i found it a cute show and pete and kaos chemestry was interesting to watch however dark blue kiss feels like they took those characters and turned them into one dimensional parodies of themselves where pete is nothing but a ridiculously jealous person and kao is blander then plain rice. I don't know if its the script writers or if the rumours about tay and new are true (if thats the case how unprofessional can you get) but its made me very uninterested in their story, sun and mork on the other hand i am here for! Im really excited to see how their relationship devolpes and i love Sun so much hes pretty naggy but such a SWEETHEART.
James is an incredible actor, he portrayed shin so perfectly and heartbreakingly i feel that the series would not have ad the same effect if anyone else had played him, i can't wait to see him in more series and can i say how much i would love to see James and Yacht as a CP oneday.
its only been 2 episodes but i think MODC is going to end up becoming my favourite HIStory finally surpassing obsessed and right or wrong, the acting is perfect, the whole cast fit their roles really well and i'm so happy to see flawed but not one dimensional characters in a BL! really my only issue is the same one i had with trapped, why is this cut into 20 epsiodes? its so obviously meant to be 10 45minute episodes cutting them in hafl makes zero sense especially since they are aired one after the other, we really don't get 2 episodes a week its just the FULL episode unlike trapped.
so does anyone else just completely skip the tum/tar scenes or is it just me? i didn't watch them in LBC and im not watching them here incest stories are just a big no for me (even if its not blood relations) i guess i'll just watch them when it actually starts relating directly to Tharn.
also type shouldn't have used the words he did but he had ever right getting angry at those two they took his photo and touched him all over with out his permission then had the nerve to post about him on social media? just goes to show gay or straight both can be terrible people.
I will say i know some people took issue with HaoTings scene with his girlfriend (i personally didnt i thought it added realism to the episode) i will defiantly have an issue if he doesn't have at least one equally long and intense scene with XiGu.
i'v only watched the opening while i wait for eng subs but its so cheesy and dramatic i love it, and that last shot of everyone smirking then Kao crying was gorgeous.
This is my theory on how Shin and P'Kengs story will go, keep in mind i haven't read either version of the book so this is pure speculation.
we learn two important things at the very beginning of the episode 1) Shin is alive. 2) the way he talks about people changing then goes on to say P'Keng is still the same too him sounds like something you say about a lover you have been with for a long time to me not someone who destroyed your life.
episode one we learn P'Kengs parents are really pushing the whole perfect son thing that never works out well, Shin is not only very shy but seems to have some bad self-esteem issues as well, p'Man is an asshole (why? does he love keng? is he just a jerk? can't wait to find out) and P'Keng and Shin seem to already have mutual feelings for each other (so cute!) so what i see happening is as they get closer and the bullying starts to escalate Shin distances himself from Keng who in return is heartbroken over it and attacks Shin out of anger and grief BUT! i don't think he rapes him, i think he will come to his senses before anything really bad happens but Shin will still be scared of him and as the harassment of Shin hits it peak he will attempt suicide (i see this going one of two ways either Keng stops him before he does anything or finds him in time to save him) and it results in Shin forgiving P'Keng and them getting together, i think they stay together as well going from the six years later clip. However the story turns out i am excited to watch it the very first episode already has me hooked!
reading some of these posts makes me really think that some people need to understand that this is a TV show, if it has themes you find triggering or distasteful just don't watch it, it's not that deep.
that being said wow i'm so impressed by the first episode the acting so far is really good and tharn/type have such good chemistry together i can't wait to see their relationship progress! i don't really like mild as techno though he's got a lot better at acting he just doesn't feel like no to me.
I've never looked forward to a new series as much as i do for UWMA, red thread is my second favourite BL novel and i'm so excited to see it bright to life the casting choice is just perfection and P'New always makes good series, i just wish the would release a solid air date.
on another note does anyone know why fluke calls ohm P'? it says here that he was born in '96 and ohm '97?
as awful as what he did is i can't help but find kengkla the most interesting character in the series, why is he the way he is? what started his love obsession with techno? what happens to them after this? i have heard the have their own story is that true? whats it called and is there an English translation?

(hopefully a light fluffy BL)
