i really enjoyed the plot twist with Dao i never suspected her at all but thinking about it after the fact there where definitely clues. on the other hand not super happy with the Botpleng reveal, it was something i guessed super early on and was hoping it wouldn't be the route they decided to go because it just seemed both to obvious and already done before with the whole Tankhun/Thunphob thing however Books acting was so good in those scenes that i can't even be that mad about it lmao, idk how people can say that he doesn't suit serious roles
"also changing the kids storyline just enough to add in a little girl getting abused by her adoptive parents…
it sure didn't, in the novel the kids are never separated from each other and don't get adopted until Thee and Peach take them in, i have absolutely no idea why they would change that
the changes they made to Tawan and Arans storyline made me so annoyed if they wanted them to end up together unlike the novel they should have changed Tawans character but instead they decided to keep him as a possessive, violent, aggressive asshole who learns nothing and still have Aran just forgive him and get with him? why? that just ends up making Aran look weak and also kind of an asshole since he claims to view Peach as a brother yet wants to be with the dude that has physically assaulted him several times? seriously if you can't make an official ship not end up together in something then just don't cast them. also changing the kids storyline just enough to add in a little girl getting abused by her adoptive parents is actually fucking wild and i have no idea why anyone thought that was a good idea lmao
that said i think the second half of the EP is one of my favourites, seeing Peach finally meet Thees parents was so great i absolutely loved the conversation Peach had with Thees mum it was so damn sweet and while it was obvious Thees dad was never actually going to try and stop their relationship seeing Thee say in no uncertain terms that he wouldn't break up with Peach was perfect. haters can say what they want but the chemistry and intimacy Pond and Phuwin have on screen is amazing and i'll never get bored of watching it
i very really feel this way about anything but i really think this series would benefit from longer episodes, it feels like they are trying to cram to much into one episode and thats why the pacing feels kind of off. while i like the fact that BL series in general are starting to have less episodes i really think MoS would have worked a lot better either being 12 eps or having at least 60min episodes
also still think there is something very wrong with Pleng, what if he's actually a twin and it was his brother that was dating Thunphob and thats why non of the memories are coming back and his grandma hate him because his twin died in the accident that took his memories
now don't get me wrong i think Off and Gun are doing a good job acting with what they have been given but man i really dislike both Koh and Jira as characters i started this show wanting to see more DewGun but at this point i just want Pheem to move on to someone else LMAO (lowkey i would love to see PheemMawain get together AJ looks great in this series)
well thats one mystery solved, i wish that they had kept the suspense going for longer with it though i found 'is Tankhun who is says he is" part a lot more interesting then the actual crime part lol but i guess it will shift focus onto that and Plengs lost memories more now
your profile pic tells me you are a FirstKhao fan, guess what? i don't really enjoy any of their series, but you…
"the thing is fb cant carry a show on their own and they should stick to ensembles" tell me what part of that is stated as an opinion lol i personally don't care if you like the show or forcebook everyones tastes are different but whether you meant it that way or not your comment comes across as hate to the actors not a subjective dislike for the series
the thing is fb cant carry a show on their own and they should stick to ensembles, ive never been able to watch/finish…
your profile pic tells me you are a FirstKhao fan, guess what? i don't really enjoy any of their series, but you know what i don't do? say shit like "they should never have a lead show again because they they don't have any chemistry" you know why i don't do that? because i have more then one braincell and know my opinions are personal and not facts.
you not enjoying something doesn't mean its bad or that thousands of other people don't enjoy it
I love dark mysteries and the pilot was so good, but the official trailer wasn't that dark for me. Can someone…
the plot from the pilot hasn't really changed its still a thriller mystery with some pretty dark themes they just changed the visuals to be a lot brighter and more dreamy, idk if they did that to juxtapose the themes in the series or if they did it because the darker visuals would scare off casual viewers though lol
so far i find Botpleng way more untrustworthy then Tankhun, i definitely think Tan isn't who he says he is (my guess is twin or older/younger brother) but there is just something off about Pleng and its not the fact he can't remember anything, i really hope he has some kind of (not so) hidden darkside i think Book will eat that up so hard
also just putting it out there but i kinda dig BounBook now so bonus points to this show for giving me another ghostship lmao
i'm shocked at the amount of comments complaining about not understanding whats happening, do people have no idea what mystery means? you aren't meant to understand anything yet its the first damn episode like sorry not to be mean but if you need a storyline spoon-fed to you for you to be able to understand it you aren't going to enjoy a mystery thriller with both a non linear narrative and an unreliable narrator, you are literally meant to be confused and know nothing at this point.
i know they are just side characters so i can't expect a lot but it sucks ass how little screen time Pheng and Wut got during their own damn wedding.
also i'v been enjoying this series a lot despite not being a fan of amnesia tropes but that "plot twist" got me sighing and shaking my head frustration
my biggest disappointment with this series is how little screen time Prim actually has, i thought she was meant to be the main female lead but she was hardly even in the first 4 episodes and is only now in the second half getting slightly more. maybe i'm remembering wrong but i swear she seemed to have a much bigger role from the pilot trailer before they cast Mewnich to be in this as well
i love Nani and Parn as actors and i adore both their characters so much but to me they have literally zero onscreen chemistry lol (i legit didn't even realise they where meant to like each other until i say all the comments on twitter about it), pretty obvious they will be end game which is fine but i was low key hoping Parn would end up with Prem because i think they have better chemi
Why is it so hard to introduce two characters who have never met before and make them bond and grow closer together…
its like time skips and reincarnation plots they can work well but its very often just used as a excuse for the writers to not actually have to write out a competent romance
