guysss, I'm still on episode 4. I know I'm behind but can someone please explain to me WHY Thame said this to Po: "I should have made you feel more important." before that 9-hr call? Did they already tell each other they liked each other before this??? I often skipped scenes and I'm confused, if they were just colleagues or friends WHY THE F WOULD YOU TELL THEM YOU SHOULD HAVE MADE THEM FEEL MORE IMPORTANT!!!!!! I'm so down bad for this series I need Paragraph Dude to explain to me the nuances that I'm lost on!!!
At this point, I just want to fast track up to the last ep..I might just skip HillTer parts too but at least pay for the episodes. I just want the Part 2 to quickly be in production!!!! The 3rd and 4th novels for the other 2 couples have so much better storyline too! They would def sell well! Willing to spend some $ for them to get into filming. But I do have one concern...they should definitely hire the novel author as part of the screen writing team so that we can avoid the problems that Part 1 is having (too much screentime for one couple and too less for the other, jumbled timelines, too much flashbacks, etc). Aaaaand also, I wanna have Tiger-Nao series because their story is also quite good (the best is still Fah-Typhoon tho, made me cry buckets).

NOTHING’S GONNA TOP THIS DRAMA FOR ME, I FEAR!!! The last time a drama has had this effect was Boys Over Flowers and til Lovely Runner, I feel like I’ve only been floating through the dramas I’ve watched. But BOF and LR, I really made them my whole personality 🥹
The best thing I like from this drama excluding the happy ending for our beloved main characters is that there wasn’t any backstory for the villain, they didn’t portray him to be someone we should have empathy for and that’s really important because: 1) there seems to be an ongoing trend of viewers voting for the red flag person just because they are handsome or did something else right; 2) in court, defense attorneys will always defend their client of course but having a very heavy case AND STILL GET OUT OF JAIL FOR MERELY A FEW YEARS because of some mental or other health issues a.k.a. putting empathy where it’s not needed; 3) people should know that there’s not always a reason for evilness, sometimes it’s innate and it’s not the victim’s fault. So for that little detail of not giving the villain a back story, I am grateful to the writers. Hopefully with the exceptional hype the drama is having/has had, the justice system all over the world will conform to what the civilian community wants and needs: a responsible justice system that protects all citizens and puts out the evils for good.

Yeah thats basically what I said… Sunjae being a celebrity in this new future even without his love for Im Sol is bc he cant get back to swimming even after rehab, and he still wouldve debuted anyway bc the manager will still scout him for his looks.
My take on ep 13 is that: when Sunjae died after having been stabbed and drowned, the wristwatch becomes a time machine (thats obv the condition for it to become a time machine) but he doesnt get to use/time travel because he is dead. Im Sol instead uses the time machine by holding that wristwatch so she gets to the orig timeline (as thats also the timeline she gets pushed back to at the first travel) and tries to NOT TO MEET Sunjae ever or at least not interact much with him so that he doesnt fall in love with her. Maybe she and Taesung still dated or just became friends. Maybe In Hyuk got acquainted with her via Taesung still playing for the band that one time. And maybe Sunjae is still with the band but he is not as famous because he didn’t write Sudden Shower because he didn’t fall in love with Sol. That’s why in the new future, Im Sol and Taesung are still acquainted, with Taesung knowing In Hyuk but not Sunjae. And Sunjae not knowing Im Sol or at least being petty and pretending not to know Im Sol because she used to ignore him in high school… thats why he asks why she hates him.
Imagine having mature Sunjae fall in love with mature Im Sol despite not knowing her from high school. Meaning, they are still bound to fall in love with each other. And this time, since Sol and Sunjae haven’t met the taxi driver in the orig timeline, there’s nothing to be afraid of.
Tang Can's acting career fell through. So now she's only doing some odd jobs here and there, hardly making ends…
Oh, so that's why. I was wondering why she was a mother and living with the girls.
But right at ep 16, I felt so sorry for Tang Can. Her acting career & her current status are still sensitive points but Mingyue's mother jabs at them so shamelessly. And I hate that Mingyue and even Jianjian keep on tolerating this.

I quite like that she prefers Ziqui's best friend. This drama really has good rep. It shows that not all girls, especially the pretty ones, only like pretty faces. Here, Tang Can actually like Bei because he's kind. Rooting for them~~

I'm at the latter part of ep 15 now, I guess the kid & being Mrs. Sun was also part of the errand job she does online. She did say it was kind of acting too. Apparently, her mom asked her to stop acting & she followed & stopped going on auditions. I'm piqued with her changes, also excited for her story to be unveiled.
I'm curious about what happened to Tang Can over the 9 yr jump. Did she get pregnant, married & divorced? In ep 15, the teacher called her Mrs. Sun & there was a kid named Sun Nian. In an earlier ep, Mingyue also said "did you go to your boyfriend's family house wearing that?" implying that she does have a partner at the moment. Was it the kid's father? But then why is she living with Mingyue & Jianjian? And she likes the Lawyer HS friend of Ziqui, too?
