okay let me get serious for a moment, all of the makeouts and nc scenes of the 1st season aside, my brain just reminded me of how heartbreaking sandray's story was (ray's hour monologue hello???) and why can't i think about anything as emotionally impactful in this season AT ALL, like am i losing my mind, everyone keeps saying the plot of s2 is stronger and maybe it is more cohesive but the characters, not to mention the relationships, just lack the depth and nuances that s1 had...man I'm so sad I need to go to sleep lol

okay so i need someone to help me understand the timeline/chronology of this universe because i basically watched everything backwards lmao i randomly started watching sun from another star because i liked the plot, then i learned it's part of this bigger story, then i went back and watched beside the sky because i kept seeing edits of fah/phoon and then finally i decided to skim through season one to see johan/north story sooo my question is: is the season 2 supposed to be happening at the same time in the story as season 1 (parallel to S1)? because in S1 we see scenes of typhoon in his ignoring fah era, so I'm assuming S2 is kinda happening in parallel to S1 it's just that S1 is focused on hill/ter and jo/north couples, am i correct?
