this could've been so good but the writing and pacing were terrible :// it's easily the weakest part out of all…
and this was my most anticipated part, so my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined (jk it wasn't THAT bad)
also, i'm not an expert on convincing acting, but as the series progressed it became evident to me that the acting in this was the weakest out of all the parts, especially whenever north appeared so many times and you could just see the skills gap between bas and everyone else 🚬 (honorable mention to pie for hard carrying this)
this could've been so good but the writing and pacing were terrible :// it's easily the weakest part out of all of the couples :// the last episode felt so off and so rushed, they should've either made more episodes or spend less episodes on their high school background idk even the chemistry felt off in the last episode, i can absolutely believe that tiger is in love with dao because i can see it all in his eyes, but on the opposite side dao does not seem in love with tiger yet, it almost feels like he's being guilt tripped into a relationship , i kinda wish the nc scene didn't happen so fast :// i may read the book to see more of their relationship and more of their thoughts, especially dao's, since the show never really explores his side
i'm still so pissed off at the pacing of this, wdym we're only gonna see one episode of them being properly together…
that being said there's two things i enjoyed about this double episode- 1. north my beloved 2. tiger looked extra scrumptious (may a yearner like this find me)
finally started watching this bc i was too scared to start (as a non religious (grew up catholic tho) queer person…
barth and tan experiencing catholic trauma bonding together meanwhile in a different part of bangkok ko1 and ko2 are eating oranges and frolicking and gallivanting with friends...queerhood is a spectrum for real
finally started watching this bc i was too scared to start (as a non religious (grew up catholic tho) queer person living in a predominantly catholic country in a (performatively) catholic family - typical slavic experience lol) bc i feel like it's gonna hit a bit too close home and my only thoughts so far after 2 eps is FUCK IT'S GONNA HURT SO GOOD
this could've been better, the whole mafia plot line is so random and everything is so rushed and dragging at the same time??? however i'm still sat for the slow burn and tiger's yearning
this could've been a cute, simple drama but they're trying to do wayyy too much, mixing too many genres and plotlines and characters and it's just messy and the main pair gets the least amount of screentime and development each week, i should drop it but i'm gonna sit through 2 more eps i guess 🚬
decided to rewatch this again after finishing OFDO...god it's even better than i remembered 🚬
one for the history books fr...it's not just the mess, the drama, the unpredictability, the ships mixing and the bomb ost, but also the fact that all of the characters were fully developed and fleshed out and they kept developing more as the series progressed, that makes it so damn good
