This whole queerbaiting mess annoys me even more because:
1. i'm queer lol
2. both dew and tee have already played in bls before and I think they wouldn't have had any problem if this series was written as a bl, however i do not know them personally so i don't wanna assume more, maybe they don't want to go the bl route bc of their freindship/relationship in real life or whatever

tl;dr this is a good show with inconsistent writing lol

adding to 4th point- i agree with what some people wrote in the comments below, the romantic scenes feel a bit forced and disconnected from the plot, and this is not dewtee's fault, but the fault of the writers.

we can clearly and consistently see that tee's character feels some type of way about kay from the beginning (the smiles, the glances etc), however up to this last eposide i couldn't feel any indication that kaye feels the same about phat, and now all of a sudden we get this ep filled with bl coded scenes and it kinda feels inconsitent. It would make so much more sense if the drama was directed either in a purely bromance way without these scenes, or if it was kept as more of a one sided type of interest (like i've interpreted it so far).

Not to rope skynani into this but in case of WU the (silent b)romance made more sense for the plot bc of the soul bonding, here it starts to feel a bit *head scratching emoji*.

Again this is not the actors' fault, they're doing a great job with the material they're provided - the creators are to blame for trying to capitalise on bl fans by not fully committing to either genre and trying to keep things vague on purpose.

skynani are definitely more subtle with the flirting lol

1. thun deserved to get his ass beat, hes pmo so bad
2. tee you are a gorgeous man
3. phat looks like he's so into kaye fr it's not funny anymore lol like that's his man in his head
4. honestly idk what i think about the (b)romance baiting, i feel like gmmtv wants to make them the next sky(hetero hyphen)nani bc it's what gets the bag without having to commit to the trials and tribulations of being in a fixed couple and i'm somewhere between 'annoyed that the queerbaiting is working again' and 'imina dewtee' lol

this is so cute, i loved the 2nd ep and i love that there's so many girls in this and normal interactions between the classmates, normalise opposite gender friendships in bls!!!

i was scared big jane is gonna come off as almost a cartoonish/cliche type of character, but i find myself almost feeling bad for him sometimes, maybe it's the manipulation techniques getting to me lol anyways the actor is doing a great job with this character

honestly i do not want the jane squared couple to end up together bc their relationship is too toxic (and i can't excuse SA your partner in any context), but i'm still so hooked and intrigued where the plot is going

10/10 just wish they didn't use fuckass AI in the intro 🚬

duang is definitely one of a kind, but i can recommend "bad buddy"- great acting, amazing chemistry, lots of humor and friendships, it was my 1st bl and still one of my favs

some other recs for light bls with little to no drama and good chemistry- boys in love, when oranges fall, my school president

i miss them sm, so i've rewatched it all over again during the weekend, i din't even plan to rewatch that soon, but i needed a pick me up and that was a perfect occasion, DWY you'll always be famous

okay i might be dumb but i'm STILL so confused about their age in this...is saint 2 years older than shin or are they the same age? is saint 19? are they both 19? bc saint said he skipped school for 2 years after the "accident" but now he's back in high school in the same grade as shin, so if they are the same age how did he not have to repeat class and could just join the last year of high school? (i have no idea how the thai school system works but in my country you're 18/19 when graduating high school)

i have so many bls started or on my to-watch list but i got the insane urge to start rewatching this yesterday and wow it's even gayer than i remembered, god bless

oh lord i didn't know 17th spring is going to be directed by him too, i'm so excited for this one and now i'm worried...

i don't usually watch period dramas (idk why but i was never able to connect with any) but i think i'm gonna give this a try bc of the high rating and the insane face cards of the leads 🚬

this show is almost healing the hole in my heart that i was left with after 'duang with you' ended, it's so cute and so well written, shot and acted, i hope they (cough siwaj cough) don't mess up the last two eps bc this is 10/10 so far
