I saw a preview of it on IG. It didn't have subtitles but from what little Korean I understand, it's gonna be GOOD.

Has anyone noticed in the new picture of Shi Yoon, below his angel tattoo it says "angle"? I'm sure this was done on purpose but I just find it kinda funny, lol.

He seriously is, like he melts my heart and makes it flutter all in one go. And girl, SAME. At one point in CITT, I stopped shipping In Ho with Seol and staring shipping him with myself bc WHAT a man. I've loved Kang Joon ever since and I'm so glad he's finally gotten a leading role. It suits him well. I also hope he gets the girl in this drama... fingers crossed!

Right? Knowing a few phrases and watching the body language is not enough, sadly. But I'm determined that one of these days, I will no longer need subtitles.

Yup! I even sent Dramafever an email regarding this to see what's up, but I haven't heard anything back yet. I know I can watch it raw on some other site, but my Korean is limited and I need subtitles, lol.

From a emotional and rational point of view, I can not--for the life of me, understand the mother. As much as I try to rationalize why she would consciously install a kill switch inside of Shin3 when she created him with her own two hands, raised him for 20 years, I cannot understand. For me, I would think she would care for him or have at least some semblance of attachment for him in all those years they spent together. But in reality, all she sees is an android, an object without feelings or its own thoughts. Something that must be controlled and this makes me sad more than anything. It makes me sad because we can clearly see how much Shin3 adores her. It might not be what our standards of "love" or "adoration" are but in Shin's own way, she is his mother and he loves her. Another reason why the mom is my least favorite character is because she can see Shin3 is becoming his own person, but instead of accepting this, she is afraid of it. She doesn't want him to be anything but a puppet for the son she hasn't seen in years. And that's why I cannot like her or sympathize with her.

Same tho...I was like how dare they put an already beautiful man in a tailor made suit while he struts the passage of a dimly lit parking garage with cool-save-the-day music playing in the background. I felt personally victimized by this. My heart can only handle so much.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate Oh Ruem and Ba Ruen's relationship?

I love how they are complete opposites--personality wise and opinion wise, but instead of letting this fact get in-between them, they work through it, lifting the other up because of their differences. It's so beautiful to see them try to see the others point of view through new eyes, the willingness to learn from each other, and the humility they have to admit when one is wrong and the other is right. I love the way they balance each other out, as equals inside and outside the courthouse. And the way they are so supportive of each other, comforting the other, sharing in each other's victories and failures. It's so rare to see this type of healthy relationship between a man and woman in dramas--in the media to be more exact--and we need more of it. The amount of respect and fondness they have for each other is also ,very touching.

Also, I want to touch on episode 14 and the way Ba Ruen stands up for Oh Ruem. I found it quite touching how Ba Ruen gets upset in Oh Ruem's defense, standing up for her at every turn, and his frustration at being able to do nothing, despite being the person who supposedly has the most power in this world. Also, the scene at the end when the two of them are in their office and Ba Ruen is expressing his anger at the unjust treatment she is receiving and she breaks down and asks him to stop, that there is nothing he can do, broke my heart. And they way he responds, so defeated that he can do nothing, but wants more than anything to be able to do something while he holds her, was very moving.


All in all, I'm just very impressed how the writers have written the relationship between these characters and how the actors have brought them to life on-screen. And to those who are hestaint to watch because of the "no romance", I urge you to give this show a chance, because there is romance. Just not in the way you're thinking. It's a subtle, slowly- growing kind of love that is more meaningful and sweet than any romance drama you've seen. I promise, you'll fall in love with Oh Ruem and Ba Ruen.

Yes, Netflix has the licensing for this drama. The first two episodes are already out to watch in the U.S. and will be available to stream worldwide on July 19.

If anything bad happens to our pure little puppy-bot, I will riot. Nam Shin III deserves all the happiness in the world and if he isn't living happily ever after with So Bong and their Roomba children by the end of this drama, a little piece of my soul will die.

Well, this drama has been very disappointing. The only positive thing about this drama is the OST. Other than that, what a disaster. Really wish I could have better things to say about it.
