Personal opinion: Unfortunately, the choppy editing and countless scene cuts make this drama unwatchable. It's a real shame because the leads have wonderful chemistry and rapport. I tried to hold out for them, but their romantic scenes are becoming less and less as the story progresses (most of their intimate scenes were cut for some reason). So I'm dropping it. However, I'm glad others seem to be enjoying it.
Call me stubborn and ridiculous, but I refuse to watch MJTY and T&C until after Story of Kunning Palace has finished…
I feel you, Estelll! Although MJTY is the only iQIYI drama this year that I've watched all the way through and thoroughly enjoyed. Everything else they've released has been subpar. If they don't air SoKP, MJTY will probably be the last iQIYI drama I watch this year. Nothing else in their 2023 lineup appeals to me.

Sadly no. Tencent released new posters for GWG's other upcoming drama, Love and Sword, but nothing for The Shadow. Although, I'm sure it will air at some point this year if no unforeseen circumstances occur before then.
