Don't forget about Ujin - his only friend, I would say. Not only he sacrificed himself for Hae Sang but was murdered…
Exactly! And also Moon Choon who was another close friend or even a father figure in Hae Sang's life. And what's even worse, HS most likely kept blaming himself for the deaths of people who got involved with the demon.
Hae Sang just couldn't catch a break, could he? Traumatized from the very young age, seeing ghosts all his life, finding out what his family did, witnessing people around him getting murdered, being severely depressed and almost killed several times. I began to doubt if he would survive, especially after getting stabbed in the finale. I was really glad to see he's made it to the end.
I would be perfectly okay with no love interests in the story, but if there's gonna be some romance included (like some scenes suggest), I'd rather watch it happen between SanYoung and the professor. I think they have better chemistry and for now Hong Sae just seems too unlikable imho.
Is it too bloody/disgusting so far?? I want to watch it but uhh the cannibalism thing scares me
Well, I don't want to spoil anything, there are some bloody scenes, but I don't think they are overused to just shock the viewers. So far, there was one disgusting scene that made me wince. The focus is still on the mystery. And the acting is top-notch.
It doesn't happen very often when I'm watching dramas, but I was hooked from the first episode. Han So Hee's acting was impressive, she really gave her all, and Park Hee Soon as Choi Moo Jin... oh myyy... <3
My first thought was that the main actor was so charming that I could literally watch him do mundane chores and I would still enjoy it. And that's exactly what I did, lol. Short, adorable and calming drama
Great article, well written and well researched. While I was familiar with the Aum Shinrikyo and Tokyo subway attacks, I didn't know how it influenced Japanese cinema or rather, if there were any movies that were somehow inspired by these events, so I was glad to learn more about them. I don't mind watching heavy-themed movies, in fact I often look for crime/investigation tags and The Cure sounds right up my alley so I'm definitely adding it to my ptw list.

Hoping for season two.

The story, the acting, the camera work – it's 10/10 from me.

I'm confused but... entertained.... I guess.
