honestly im liking this a lot bc they aren’t rushing into jane and ryans relationship, there’s small progress in each ep which flows so well with the story. compared to other bls where the mcs are all over eachother within the first 2 mins, this feels refreshing imo

tong isn’t that kind ik he was using his baby as a way to get joe to help him, he may change next ep just so ppl think he’s had some sort of “character development”

everything you said is right but joe doesn’t know what he’s dealing with in terms of ming’s family either, the whole family situation happened so suddenly that the two have no choice but to face it even if they’re not ready. joe loves ming he won’t just leave him regardless of how toxic he knows ming is. there are many ppl who in joe’s place would act the way he did considering everything that’s happened, everyone in mings family + tong is accusing joe for being the bad guy in ming’s life. it all depends on personality and we know what kind of person joe is. it may also be bc joe doesn’t want to stir up trouble in the family knowing that tong has the upper hand

i mean if u put urself in joe’s shoes it makes sense why he isn’t fighting, he’s constantly being told by others that ming doesn’t love him and is only feeling guilty for his past actions. for joe, it’s hard to believe anything ming says rn plus joe believes that if ming truly does love him he should prove it to him in different ways. i don’t think being called a gold digger is what bothered him but more so the fact that he has to go thru so many obstacles in his new body, there always seems to be smtg in his way whether it’s tong, sol, or mings family. i’m sure he’ll fight for their relationship alongside ming very soon tho!!!

sol desires joe mostly bc he wants to win against ming, many times in the show he’s tried to control joe’s emotions and feelings for ming, he kept ming’s love a secret from joe knowing he wouldn’t have a chance if he knew the truth. ppl think sol doesn’t truly like joe he just likes the feeling joe once had for him and is trying to get that back but what he really lacks is accepting the truth and moving on

im going to believe this has a happy ending bc at the end when yori asks if they were reborn minato says no we’re the same, makes me feel like the movie is implying that there is no need for rebirth in order to find happiness together in their current life, personally i think the last scene where the storm stopped and they were running freely equals that they accept who they truly are and shows that their acceptance will lead to overcoming obstacles
