i agree this scene was very different whereas in the novel it just hit so well cuz there was more emotion, they also didnt include mings iconic line where he tells joe he was only 20 at the time and i just 😔 i wish the series would delve into mings feelings more i feel this is the reason as to why ming is so overlooked

the only one thats got me on the edge of my seat is my stand in rn but 5 seconds into the pilot for this one and i was sold

well joe is gonna be joe and stay blinded by love for ming so no surprises there as for ming he wanted to get actual confirmation that hes the real joe in this ep before we see his character development in the next ep

people like ming bc hes actually interesting plus his character is complex and very overlooked by those that don’t understand him, sol isn’t a good character either esp after ep 9 so idk what ur saying but at the end of the day its all fiction and everyone has different preferences 🤷‍♀️

i rly hope this is more plot focused rather than just giving us romance the whole time but its gmmtv so i dont expect much 😭
