It is said that Tang Lici will undergo seven mortal feeling, one of them is love. Now it can be love for a friend…
"Why should he at all?" what kind of absurd statement is this even? HE IS THE MAIN CHARACTER, THE PROTAGONIST, THE CELESTIAL BEING, THE ABSOLUTE POWER, THE UNATTAINABLE EXISTENCE... The vast land of shenzhou travels the way his heart desires.
As i mentioned in my original comment, the drama is drama, the book is book. Viewing the drama and its characters through the lens of the book is just setting yourself up for a major disappointment.
If you do not know what Shui Long Yin truly is and who Tang Lici truly is then it’s wise to simply wait for the broadcast of the drama, watch it and form your opinion on Tang Lici rather than spreading misinformation and judging/hating on him solely because of his book version.
If you want to talk about the scene at 2:13, i would like you to tell me the identity of the young boy standing on Tang Lici’s left side at 2:13. https://youtu.be/SdhZVlp_1m8?si=i6i0wven4Yv591vO
I could say that is Shui Long Yin is all about Tang Lici and if you have issues with that then it is not others’ problems. Live well in your illusionary realm.
Hello! I have posted a new topic with differences between the novel and screenplay all taken from cited sources,…
Thank you so much for providing a clarification. You are right in saying so, the drama is going off a completely different script with having very few similarities to the original source.
It is said that Tang Lici will undergo seven mortal feeling, one of them is love. Now it can be love for a friend…
The love that he experiences in his heart is universal, for the world and its people as a whole, not for just a friend or a brother or someone else. 历人间七情破江湖混沌 (experiencing the seven emotions and breaking through the chaos of the world) is Tang Lici’s self-discovery of his own self, the world and the mission that depends solely on him to save or condemn everything and everyone.
I would not spoil the context behind this particular scene or other scenes but i would like to say the scene is far from being a kiss scene, let alone it’s being a romantic scene. The Main character, that is Tang Lici (唐俪辞) played by Luo Yunxi (罗云熙), does not have any kind of loveline with any character in the drama titled Shui Long Yin/The Dragon Chant. And let us be real, does the drama not having any romance or lovelines make it any less valuable? Why does everything need to have romance in it? Dramas without romance or lovelines do exist and Shui Long Yin is one of them.
The book and the drama are the two separate works and should be looked upon as such. It is okay for an adaptation to be different, to not be faithful to the original source, it is quite common in c-ent. The plot of Shui Long Yin/The Dragon Chant as well as the characters have been rewritten by the screenwriter Lin Conghe while just retaining the core essence of the book. https://x.com/shuilongyinint/status/1905795587271950616?t=JB_IPMoM00_RKCS_T4z5Dg&s=19
The drama Shui Long Yin/The Dragon Chant is a Big-One-Male-Lead-Centic drama taking us to experience an epic journey of growth and redemption of Tang Lici (唐俪辞) in a different world. The drama also pioneers a new genre — “Xuanxia” a fusion of traditional martial arts (Wuxia, 武侠) with the grand fantasy elements (Xuanhuan, 玄幻) aspiring to take the best of the both: the boundless world building backed by the chinese mythology and the grounded sense of loyalty and honor found in the traditional martial arts stories. Which makes it completely different from the original source. https://weibo.com/7877145645/P0ZFus7ng https://x.com/LuoYunxiFanClub/status/1784753008250892463?t=sAGauoFmxsMEVGko5tGWgQ&s=19
Kindly respect the drama the way it is designed without forcing out the narration of the book into it.
In addition, a particular female character appearing to be the "female lead" from the perspectives of the viewers would not honour them with the position of the leading actress.
MangoTv’s Mega Project Shui Long Yin (The Dragon Chant) is featured on Weibo’s “蓄水期抢跑计划”, taking the lead in the Pre-Release Phase, campaign, benefiting from early exposure, targeting promotion, and exclusive platform support to build momentum before its official release.
Has reached its peak? 😳 So it will lessen from now on??I think we’re not even near the peak…I’m still…
I don’t need to wait for a trailer for it to blow up my mind lol, it’s already a masterpiece in my eyes😂 and everyday my desires to watch it are reaching new peaks.
From Tang Lici & Liu Yan to Li Si & Meng Rui, they will once again be seen entangled with each other in another time and space.
(Tang Lici : A’Yan, our story is not yet over!)
