Many people have died, and continue to die, because of Covid. Countless others — both young and old — are now living with Long Covid, which can develop into severe conditions like ME/CFS, POTS, or other chronic illnesses that change lives forever.
That’s why, as much as I love K-Dramas, I find it deeply painful when Covid is used in a storyline. It feels dismissive when a fictional virus could have been chosen instead. For so many of us, Covid is not just “in the past” — it’s a daily reality.
Please remember: every Covid infection carries risks. It can trigger long-term illness, even serious issues like heart attacks or Alzheimer’s later in life. This isn’t about fearmongering, but about compassion and awareness.

So while I love watching Kdramas plots about Covid are disrespectful you could have just used a fictional virus instead of it. after all I thought that Se Hee was smarter I mean she kept her foundation alive for decades without anyone noticing and now she does this weird family camp (makes no sense on the first place to much commotion) … underwhelming ending imo
it’s one thing to refund your child (I’m mean it’s still very bad) but to actively participate in the killing of their child is another … did they know beforehand ? like I’m pretty sure a lot of them are too faint hearted to actually do it than just return it
I normally don’t like 1970s (or 1900 in general) kdramas and it only has a 7.1 rating on MDL but I have a feeling this one could be promising and the fact that it is dubbed I German (I can watch it in 2x) is even better to give it a try, even tho I’ve watched Doona! before (forgot about everything that happened) I can only remember Suzy so this will be my first second drama with Yang Se Jong who’s literally the twin of Ko Kyung-pyo,
