why are they behaving like they are anime characters, the screaming, the exaggerated expressions … that’s why it’s really hard to find a good Japanese drama
tbh I did not like the ending and the plot I wanted it so be more fluffy like in the beginning and the side characters who were pretty dominant in the beginning were not really important nor included close to the end, I did not like that Yi Beon bowed to the king after all the did to him yet he set Yi Gyu in exile, I thought with fl being in her fav novel there would be more plot about why she was in there in the first place and how she can back (like I wanted this to be the main plot can’t explain it properly) and not just a random mysterious kid like who or what is he where do he come from why choose her, so she really was just a wife in the end and wdym she gave broth to at least 8 kids (and she doesn’t age or does it work differently in the novel one day your pregnant the next the baby is here because people won’t read 9 month of pregnancy times 8) in the meantime Su-Gyeom and Eun-Ae grew closer together again but that would be after 10 years of passing because it was at the same time as fl and ml kids were born and they too did not age but fls father did ?!, there were so many promising characters and the mystery behin her getting sucked into her novel yet they focused on a clan - the royal palace - kidnappings and people close to their death due to poisoning
I just finished episode 11 of First Night with the Duke, and honestly, I’m glad it’s almost over — which is something I never thought I’d say when I first started it. Right now, this feels like the worst ending ever. I really thought K would return to the real world and somehow meet Yi Beon again — like a destined second chance at real love.
But instead, she chooses to stay a fictional character forever? Seriously? What do you mean you’d rather live in a made-up world than return to modern reality — a place full of endless opportunities, not just being someone’s wife and having kids?
And then what? Does the story just keep repeating itself forever? Or does it stop? Either way, I hate it. What happened to our female lead from the beginning who was living freely (Cocktail Queen) she would never have made that decision
Here’s what I think after ep 5 1.We don’t see anything from the two new contestants and I’m pretty sure they will not find a connection. 2. Even if it’s really true that Noh Jae-yun is on the spectrum watching his move from the viewers perspective is frustration because why make a cowardly move towards someone who shows interest in you instead of literally ghosting her be respectful enough to tell her. 3. Ji-su will defo end up with someone but 100% not Sang Ho. It’s not about how he looks but how he behaves and I’m sad to see that his coach did not teach him any manners. Don’t get me wrong I’m not here to bully someone but speaking properly (his accent is not the problem) and having some sort of etiquette (e.g. how to use Utensils) is key. 4. Seung-li he does not seem like someone without dating history. Maybe not a relationship but flirting around. 5. the talk at the end of ep 5 between Yeo-myung and Jeong-mok showed me that they have the most chemistry. Imo he fits better with her than Yi Do even if I adore his commitment to her. Yi Do is „too“ much for him don’t get me wrong i love her but i do think she’s better of with someone older and more talkative than him. And she also doesn’t look like a forever single. 6.At first i did not like Min-hong at all but she grew on me. She’s fierce and her expressions are priceless, how she was hugging Seung-chan from behind not giving af and supporting Jae-yun like an older sister that’s totally admirable. I’m pretty sure she stays single also she need a man with experience because she’s too clever for the other guys. 7.im sad that no one is interested in Ji-yeon. I personally think she’s pretty and her way of communicating is sweet. She really liked Jaeyun even tho he literally spoke 3 words in the first few episodes which everyone else who voted him turned them off but she stayed consistent. I’m pretty sure she will end up single too maybe even leaving the villa before the end. 8. Without any bad intention I think Hyun-kyu could be on the fruitier side (not in an offensive way everyone had the right to love who they want to). ATM I don’t really see him with anyone even Ji Su. 9. Mi Ji is a woman woman and I don’t think she will shake the villa much nor will she find the perfect one for her but if so it’s defo Seung-li or Seung Chan
ep 7: finally he got his moment to tell her how he felt at the exact spot he could not say it years ago … and you still tried to find a better moment boy you’ve decided to tell her in the most perfect way
ep 7: Mi Rae did not look surprised after Se Jin found out .. it’s one thing if a someone who’s been with them since high school finds out but him how did he know ?
For the first time, I would say, none of the participants job is related to the media. We got no models , actors…
I love the concept don’t get me wrong and I think most of them are forever singles :) and I still love the concept it is very heartwarming and I hope that everyone tells the truth but if you look at Ji-Su she speaks her mind very well and is not shy can’t believe that she never dated before or Jeong Mok
