that was such a weird last episode beginning with seulgi drowning like it does not happen this quickly secondly why would you swallow pills then get forced into surgery 10 hours before the most important test of your life that was performed by your student friend who is not a doctor (now she’s left with a big scar and she is 100% not fit enough to take the test) and the fact that she did this for nothing because the real pill was never swallowed, I hated hated ep 16 what a waist of my time so many plot holes so many questions too fast paced at the end, I don’t know why every one did what they did in the end seems very unreasonable, don’t know why they jumped in the river and why would Seul-Ki cry one tear for Je-Yi when she literally performed surgery on her, and the fact that Hee-Yoon calls herself Seul Kis mother now surprised me after what she did to her, and Tae-Joon did clearly not get the sentence he deserved otherwise he would not lure outside their house (no restraining order, no longer prison time) what a mess, the ending made my rating sadly go down even tho I was not bored,
I know it was only acting but how did the production team manage to convince both parties (old and young) to act that way and film those scenes. pretty sure their was a strong psychological team behind the scenes involved
did I get this right … the teacher pays the school 50m won up front to work at their school which means he will work approx. 1 year and 8 month for free while he still needs to pay for food and accommodation. not only did his mother give him all her asset he will work without getting any money and will be in debt prob for the rest of his life. why would he ever consider working there and why did he not als other teachers about the bribe
the only person I really adore unconscionable in this drama (hopefully it stays that way) is Hee-Yoon - she got cheated on by her husband/teacher with his student she takes care of his teenage daughter who btw was lost for most of her life and only came back a few weeks before but her father was already dead - she doesn’t settle even tho her husband was a coward - she protects Seul-Ki like she’s her own - and uses words of affirmations to reassure Seul Ki
The father is so insane and obsessed with maintaining control that he cuts his daughter’s hair, locks her in a room wearing hospital clothes, and even makes her wear an ankle monitor—whenever she leaves her room, sirens go off
I thought while reading the title it would be about school bullying, who’s the best, competition for uni, maybe some gl involved, cheating, even an affair between a teacher and a student (hahah) but not a psycho dad who controls literally everything. that’s not friendly rivalry that’s narcissists turning against each other
in ep 14 how can you erase someone’s memories just like TaeJoon did to his daughter Je Na (in form of brain washing maybe?) and I’m still not convinced that she killed the teacher the only reason would be to make her dad proud
I first thought that SeulKis father was wrongly framed. that Je Na forced herself on him and biting his lips but it seems like he was hesitant at first but gave in uh … ew
