dude why was Inha making that face at the end of epi 11. like what was that... i couldn't stop laughing it was…
NAH FOR REAL I usually like his acting as the villain, since class of lies where he nailed it, but in this one it's so caricatural and unnatural wtf. Even Ljw is sometimes out of character it's really weird to watch. I feel like the side characters we barely see (like the prosecutor for example) handle their role way better ?
I was so confused of the reaction when Taeoh realised he had been betrayed / played by Inha. Cuz I was sure till…
Yeah I thought about this too, that maybe, as Taeoh shows several times that he has a sweet heart and sense of humanity, maybe he didn't picture that their initial plan would go down with murders and betrayal on that scale. He probably thought that Inha would be able to act dumd towards money and thirst of power but not double cross him as long as Taeoh was running for him. And not kill to get what he wants? It feels that what made Inha lost it was the cheating thing so I don't know if Taeoh was aware of them being watched at this moment or if he was blinded by "love" but as you said he does seem to lost his awareness when it comes to Hye won.
100% agree with the last part. President Kang probably consideres him as a son because he is the most capable of succeeding without any manipulative tricks. I think there's some kind of admiration that he doesn't have for any of his blood family. We'll see in the future if they are linked by a real family bound ? But Taeoh seems to have no idea of all this.
Him. he always had. Taeoh appears as the smartest one and the one the girl had also a crush on. He can have what he wants and he even gets recognition as an highly intelligent and worthy person by Inha's dad (we'll see if Taeoh is biologically related to the Kang family later). I think Inha hate that he can't be him.
i just read that the make out scene HW / HTO in the couch was real and Inha watched them. I thought it was in his imagination ahhhh it makes sense that's why he said "vulgar" looking at the sofa but that's so sick
I wish they could've taken a little more time to show us the past before doing so many time skips. Maybe if they…
Yeah the 5 years gap at the beginning was not a good choice imo. But at the same time i don't think they would have succeeded in leading a 16 episodes dramas...
I agree with you that over the years, Han Tae Oh might develop trust on In Ha, but the issue is we, viewers were…
I'm reading those comments with lots of attention as it exposes exactly my thoughts rn. For the past episodes I fairly believed that is was intentional that Taeoh's personal achievement and goal was blurry and obscur. I thought he was a very complex and clever character and that he was also using Inha and other people to get where he wanted to be. I thought his only weakness was the girl. I didn't trust what he said to Inha the time he said that he was basically only living for Inha'a success. And I thought their "friendship" was in fact a partnership. (seven if i wished they were bro and would climb the ladder together). But seeing his reaction when he realised Inha betrayed him was so confusing ??? He felt hurt as if he lost his best friend. Something is not clicking or missing.
And ironically I almost believed that Inha was the one more emotionally attached to Taeoh in the first eps. Which now proves me i was so wrong lmao. The turnover of Inha's true self was too sudden cuz is a second we wanted Teaoh dead. Idk what is missing in scenario but the viewer can't really believe and run with anyone. Taeoh feels way less intelligent and more lost. Does he have a goal beside the girl?
Probably she is the one that is the most self driven , she made the real sacrifice to live a life she doesn't want to get somewhere but as the actress doesn't really express the deepness of this character through physical tension and emotions we cannot get her power. So I think basically we are only watching a play but we cannot take actions or feel with the characters.
For crying out loud, could someone PLEASE explain to me why Tae Oh is so dead set on making plans for OTHER people's…
I was so confused of the reaction when Taeoh realised he had been betrayed / played by Inha. Cuz I was sure till now that Taeoh was somehow using Inha too. That he wasn't really "living just for him" with no other goal etc. But following the plot, now it seems that he was blindly trusting him and it's a bit weird. Like Taeoh is clever until you show him the woman he likes and Inha. There's something that doesn't fit right.
Assault like that is never justified. Hyewon, however, thought she could mess around and treat In Ha like an ignorant…
This girl is cold blooded like Taeoh. From the beginning she is probably the most self driven one (because after all Taeoh seems to only go one for her and not a personal goal). That's why she chose to be with a man she didn't have feelings for and live a life she despises if it means at the end she would be where she wants. It's a bit disappointing that those traits don't really appear with her acting but that's how I imagine things. And it does seem that she is gonna take part in the action now.
Rearding Inha, on the past eps I was always trying to see some good in him, i loved his baby girl temper in the bromance , and then even after he showed more darkness i was still almost certain that he and taeoh were a lot alike. I thought Taeoh was as manipulative as he was + as Inha was caring with her sister and seemed scared to lose Taeoh or been played by other people i really thought he wasn't a villain. But after seeing how Teaih was affected after realising he was betrayed by Inha, I understood that there was a difference between them. Cuz Teaoh really has affection toward him.
And I have to admit now that even he went through real traumas Inha's actions are getting more and more evil like and he has some real psychological issue . I can't say he had reasons to act like this cuz he picked a woman emotionally available from the start + he really is driven by some jealousy / possessiveness to the point he imagined visual scenes in his head which is pretty scary lmao. But I still find his character really interesting to watch. And yes his downfall is getting closer....
I tried watching one episode of this (ep8) and I thought it was...okay...? (Tbf I only watched one episode)
you should keep going honestly. if you're okay with being "disappointed" in the sense of maybe you will end up disliking characters you thought you would like, maybe some relationships won't go the way you expected etc. if you're able to focus on the whole thing and not just one acting skill or one bound you might find some good things the in show.
20 minutes left of episode 8 but i apologise already from my previous post when i said inha probably wanted a friend at first lmaooo gosh that assault scene was so disturbing to watch. It's sick and twisted and I knew it was probably coming but I definitely underestimated his inner madness. Lee junyoung is an amazing actor and despite the low physical / emotional acting of the FL that particular scene was really strong in impact.
How bad were the last two episodes for it to drop from an 8.0 to a 7.6? âšī¸ im almost too scared to watch.
It was better than ep 4&5 tbh. People are coming massively to rate it even though they dropped after ep 2.... And honestly I'm among the few who likes this drama so I would say make your own mind with it. It's not that bad !
Discovered him in class of lies and his acting skills were impressive. He grew up well and I hope we'll see even more diversity in next projects even though he is playing the psycho so perfectly. Among my top actor shortlist. đŠļ
