Despite knowing the rumors about the final cps, I still wanna root for Jaehyung and Jihyeon, that one date of theirs is 100x more better than all her dates with Yoo Sik, they obviously had more chemistry and with legit tension. Tbh, I keep finding her dates with Yoo Sik quite boring, their conversations always remain on surface level with no progress and it seems Jihyeon is always the one trying to lead their conversations so I never felt any chemistry between them.

I keep seeing other people commenting about Doudou's personality and how she should've mellow down because she was going too fast or coming off too strong and I completely disagree with all these comments trying to pin it on her.

I share the same sentiments as you, glad you put it out here. It's frustrating to see others kept on putting it all on her when in the first place they fail to realize we are given third godly pov hence we can see the signs or hints of Le Chen's nonverbal way of showing his stance. Many seem to forget this fact, they forget that Doudou doesn't have a miracle godly pov, what she sees are limited to what Le Chen only allowed her to see.

So many viewers miss out on the fact that Doudou and Le Chen had rapport from the start. Le Chen had constantly been giving Doudou signals of his liking towards her, it was just that train date with Lu Yuan did everything start to waver between them and his stance shifted a bit. He still was obviously interested in Doudou, because even after that train scene with Lu Yuan, he still gave Doudou signals and even during that diving date.

If Le Chen was truly no longer that interested in Doudou he should've been like Yuhang who is clear with his signals towards Yi Fan but no he wasn't. I don't know why others are too blind to see that at some point Doudou was led on by Le Chen's indecisiveness and inability to communicate. Hints and signals that he gave were all nonverbal actions and that is not a healthy way to communicate. Action and Words go together.

What is wrong here is not Doudou's straightforward attitude, if other's can accept Le Chen's inability to communicate properly like a normal adult, then they should also be able to accept Doudou's personality when she only wanted some clarity. Instead a cold shoulder was given to her. Le Chen's inability to communicate properly and his mixed signals is the real problem. And, Le Chen seriously need to work on his personality. Not just with the way he is unable to communicate but also with how he seems to be unable to respect other people's opinions. Will never forget his over exaggerated facial reactions during their car conversation.

Personally for me, I highly recommend watching S7 as it's the best season imo. Followed by S5, S6 and S2 (I couldn't finish S1, S3, and S4 ended up dropping them).

I finally completed the last episode today. It has been worthwhile, although there were a few things I thought which could have been made better. Either way I still ended up enjoying it, this has been the only k-drama this year which had me totally hooked on it from first episode. I am not very familiar with the actors, this is the first time I watched their work and their performances easily captivated me. The leads chemistry is very memorable too and would love to see them collaborate in another drama again soon.
