I guess I will put this on-hold for a while and wait for the finale. I badly hope Bon Hee x Mujin end up together despite their age gap. I could see them working out. I also hope that Mujin isn't wearing some facade and is being sincere, I do believe that he is genuine but just hope they don't pull a my siblings romance here.

That's unfortunate because most of her works are historical and fantasy genres, where she showed many wonderful performances. But since you are more into modern dramas, I recommend you to watch her in Northward, Love Is Sweet and Only for Love. These are really good too.

I am hoping her future works would include modern ones too

It's the same case for me, this is my first time watching a drama of hers as Hou Minghao brought me here and I am surprisingly liking her character as well.

Right! We get to see a new side of minghao and he nailed this type of character he is suited for historicals as much as he is in xianxia. In his next projects hoping he plays general next! would be so good. I can't wait for that too.

It's such a pleasant surprise to have two back to back Hou Minghao dramas airing at the same time. I had just started watching this today and the first episode already had me captivated. I didn't expect to enjoy this, considering how it doesn't solely revolve on the romance aspect alone and there'd be family feuds plus lots of vile characters coming into play but with the good cinematography and styling for the casts which made their striking visuals stand out and how both the leading characters are interesting enough and smart especially Lu Jianglai. I am glad to see Hou Minghao playing a new character, as much as I had loved his demon roles which are no doubt built for him, it's refreshing to see him playing this type of character. I am in awe of his performance so far and most importantly his facial expressions. I think Lu Jianglai might be my next favorite character of his after Ji Bozai. Though I have yet to see how the chemistry between the leads play out.

Maybe this person isn't after your opinion/review but is personally attacking you instead because I find it weird how they would attack you for a review when there are many other users who wrote positive reviews. I suggest you report the user instead. You should screenshot their threatening message, go to the support forum and report it to mdl admins.

You're not alone, such things happen to me too before I could ever realize I wasn't feeling it. I have dropped so many dramas over the years, I guess there's really no way to know unless we give it a go and see for ourselves 😅...no worries I just think there's no point in fighting over a drama when everyone of us is different. Enjoy savoring the Jin Zhao moments that man is quite a feast in the eyes 🤭🩵

They felt more like childhood sweethearts for me, so I didn't really have any trouble with their dynamic and as for Jiang Mu being 'childlike'...it was intentional for her character and it was her way of giving Jin Zhao an emotional refuge, for him to be soft as he always had his guard up. I did read a comment from novel readers saying that he did indulge this aspect of Jiang Mu so she'd be dependent on him. Though these are just my opinion, we all have different taste and preferences, not every drama will be a hit 😊
