The best review I read. You portray your thoughts in one comment.
I had so much in mind after ep 13, thanks though!

I have the same thoughts as you. During earlier episodes, he initially didn't want to kill all of the hostages…
Right. I honestly hope so too but seeing how writer loves to make youngsoo suffer and ofc, us as viewers suffer too, think we should prepare ourselves for what's to come. The climatic ending which Haein hinted during an interview, we are definitely drawing closer to that.

The only thing that I don't get is why they had to show the president's son, as if he will have any significance for the plot, next thing we knew he is nonexistent 🤔

As long as Cheong ya wins o am fine with it. Hana is just too annoying.
I've actually placed my bet on Cheongya too. I found Hana annoying during earlier eps for her wrecklessness but somehow I managed to be okay with her during this recent eps.

I doubt comrade joo will change his mind during the remaining 3 episodes so i have the feeling that he's going…
I've actually thought the same, seeing how he is firmly against Sooho. In addition to that is his ruthless nature, he is always ready to kill even his own comrade, proven during their training flashback last ep and with the latest ep as well. I doubt he will ever have any character development tbh, he has been sticking to his ideology since the very start, no matter how many times eungcheol or sooho tries to convince/ make him understand, he doesn't budge. Think it would be a miracle if he suddenly changes for the remaining ep, but a big factor has to play on that part for him to do so. I bet writer is making him continue to be as he is in order to heighten the remaining eps, as to what haein had hinted during interviews, the ending is climatic. I'm sure comrade joo is bound to cause trouble for our leads.

I just really love how badass Cheongya and Hana are, seeing them working tgt now that both of them are out of the dorm would be so cool...but then a fight scene between both of them would be epic.

Since young ro's dad is still alive, he might have a big plan in order to save everyone in the dorm. I am still…
I have the same thoughts as you. During earlier episodes, he initially didn't want to kill all of the hostages but ever since he lost his son plus heard his son's last words of how he has to protect youngro, it greatly affected him so he became so desperate at the moment of pain to save the only child he had left. But, yes after hearing Youngro's words and how he almost died, i'm sure he has a change of heart and is already scheming something big to get back at Nam Taeil at the same time get his daughter alive ( with Sooho too based from the preview). I really feel that he holds a key in saving them.

I wonder why they had to cut episode 13 a few mins short?! Like that last scene left me hanging. I was so ready for Sooho and Kangmoo's confrontation since Sooho finally learned how after everything, Kangmoo is still under the agenda of arresting him, as if he didn't make anything worst by putting a tail on Dr. Cheongya with Hana. Although his idea could be for the good if ever Cheongya betrays them, but if that isn't the case, then their only plan would definitely fail. I was honestly looking forward to their alliance, only to end up being disappointed in him. Initally, i've had the thought he'd still be stuck in his taedong river 1 jail agenda, but I put those thoughts aside because I believed he had woken up to the realities of how horrible ANSP truly is. The other thing i'm disappointed about is how room 207's friendship seeing hyeryeong and seolhee's reaction from the preview along with the rest of the hostages, like it is totally not Youngro's fault her dad was the director of ANSP, if they were her real friends, they would have atleast tried to understand her, but I think writernim will patch things up between them in the end, but that won't change the fact how disappointed they made me. Must say, nam taeil is a true comedian, it's hard to take him seriously. This episode proved to me how I dislike Boon Ok and still is constantly disliking her. I tried understanding her actions during earlier episodes given her life circumstances but as if she can't get anymore worst, she already lost me at the time she pulled the trigger on Ms.Pi, now seeing her recent evil agenda...I just wish someone slaps her some senses. Instead of learning from her wrongdoings, she's out there showing no remorse. Now I have my doubts about her ever redeeming herself. She's done too much. Drama aside, I have to praise Hyeyoon for playing Boon Ok so well, her acting is on another level, she's a really talented actress and as much as I love her as a protagonist, now I want to see her more with antagonist roles. Another thing to praise ofc is Jisoo's crying scenes, she made me cry again during the scene where she was praying for her dad. Last but not the least, Haein's facial expression during the last scene, how he clenched his jaw, his eyes that held the words of betrayal, disappointment, hurt, and anger is just so good...he never fails.

I really doubt that she is an NK spy, as she suffers PTSD and I doubt that she is faking her condition. The NK…
oh I think you are referring to Ms.Pi, as she is the one who got threatened by Chief Ahn to become an ANSP spy. Regarding the walkie talkie, the one which Kang Moo answered was the one he took out from his pocket which belonged to Ms.Pi, because just when he had unwrapped and connected the antenna for the chicken walkie talkie, before he actually had a chance to turn it on, the one in his pocket (Ms.Pi's walkie talkie) received a signal, therefore, he took it out and answered it, that is why the ANSP was on the other line. Also, the NK spy/mole directly sends their messages to the NK party and not ANSP. Thus, Lim Ji Rok was the first to know about Sooho's betrayal, Sooho joining hands with Kang Moo. The ANSP only found out about their alliance through Lim Ji Rok who talked directly with Eun Chang Soo.

Is the kitchen lady a NK spy too?
I really doubt that she is an NK spy, as she suffers PTSD and I doubt that she is faking her condition. The NK party wouldn't be that careless about their spies, they wouldn't pick someone who suffers from such condition to go under an important mission. Seeing how clever and strategic they are, the NK spy is most likely someone else and the kitchen lady was just framed. Plus, if she really was an NK spy, I believe she wouldn't easily give herself away like that. I mean, just her convo with Kang Moo how chickens were being stolen, with what she had said, she easily gave away herself if ever she was the NK spy and honestly, spies won't ever do the obvious to set themselves up.

I noticed that viewers, especially newer ones, can find the political aspects of the drama a bit hard to follow.…
That would be a great idea, it would especially help 'new' viewers who will watch snowdrop in future too. As far as I can remember, there hasn't been an actual summary of all the political aspects of SD yet. Though, there are comments from other mdl users who explained bits or parts of the political aspect. It'll be a challenge to find them though, cause they're lost in the comment section now 😅

I forgot some parts of earlier eps already, but after reading that thread, I realized how much those tiny details from before foreshadowed so many things that happened in current ep. Adding to that is what the fortuneteller had said in ep 12, how the god's would grant the wish of the one who is most desperate and sincere. I got goosebumps. In youngro's prayer I trust 👀

The thought that after tonights ep airs, we will only have 3 episodes left to watch. Snowdrop is coming to an end and i'm finding it hard to sink that in. I wonder how they will end everything well with just a few episodes though, and how climatic and memorable is the ending going to be as Haein had said.

MOOD. That scene became one of my fave scenes. The execution of each movements were as clean as a slate, combining it with how intensely they looked at each other during the fight. Enjoyed it so much that I lowkey wished they fought longer ... i wouldn't mind at all 🤧😂

1. The reason why I started watching snowdrop is solely because of Jung Hae In and because of the plot of snowdrop…
I'm glad too and grateful towards JTBC for defending SD which made it possible for us to watch and fully appreciate SD. With the rising petitions before to cancel SD and stuff, I actually thought SD would never see the light. That would be such a huge regret and disappointment. Regarding blu-ray, there's been progress already, just hope more and more people will sign for it and that they approve of it because honestly it seems that there are quite a lot of scenes that were deleted. With blu-ray we'd be able to get more details and understand SD more. Oohh so was the romcom tag a lie. Have fun watching it :)

Agreed. It's another great scene to highlight what kind of leader Sooho is & why Eungcheol completely trusts him…

Right. It also explains how Choi Sooryun and Comrade Joo were so certain that he would have a change in his ideology, how he'd betray the nk party one day. Thus, commanding Comrade Joo to kill him. Sooho doesn't just blindly follow orders like how they were supposedly disciplined and trained to do so. Now that his father has become aware of his betrayal, i'm pretty sure he'd make things worst for him. I doubt he'd ever let Sooho live, plus his sister. I worry for her fate as well.

If that really happens then damn the writer for being too cruel on eungcheol, like it's already a miracle he was able to survive that bomb explosion, can they just let him enjoy his fried chicken atleast. I'm holding onto that faith too!! Out of all the 'friends' sooho had ever made, eungcheol proved to be the most genuine one. Gwangtae turned out to be selfish, Comrade Joo is like a ticking bomb. Then there's the new budding bromance with Kangmoo too.
