Badly need Richard Wang to play more leading roles in cdramas/movies. His 'A River Runs Through It' drama is just one of his best and most outstanding work yet, as well as the most recognized one actually. He really needs a break through, he deserves it as he is such a talented and well-skilled Actor who has his own ability and charm to immerse every audience with his own acting. Hoping to see more of him soon!

I completely agree with you, as I was one of those 'people' who wanted both Xiaoju and Shiyi to be a couple already. I was roothing so hard for the both of them. That was what I felt during the first half of the episode, the time Shiyi learned about his liking for Xiaoju especially, however, as the episodes further progressed, such thoughts of mine had been changed as well. Despite how both of them weren't a couple, every scene of theirs regardless wether they are bickering with each other or completely being just right there for one another, they had conveyed so many feelings in those alone and I seriously had major butterflies every time they had a scene together. Their chemistry, hu yixuan and richards wang is just so top-notch that we were really given the bestest. I've been a constanst cdrama lover and had watched a lot of romance and youth genre dramas already. Tbh, at times I felt too bored and had a feeling to drop since the leads aren't a couple yet, but with the same slow burn romance trope in ARRTI, for once, I never felt that way. Them ending up together finally during the last episode, it made me happy and contended although some might have felt that it just wasn't enough but that was the 'it' for me. Since we were able to notice how lovely and how perfectly they fit one another even way before they became a couple^^. Though, ofc! everyone have their own opinions but i'm super glad they didn't follow the ending of the novel.

I just started watching this today and so far i'm already loving it. There might be cliche scenes but if you're into romance and fluffy stuff, then I definetly recommend as this is a good light-hearted watch. There are some funny scenes too and characters. I love the ML's acting, he's good looking too. This is the first time i'm watching his work. As for Meng Wei (FL), i've known her since 'Love The Way You Are', where she plays support role, i'm glad she's finally getting more lead roles these days. Her character here can be a little annoying but she's cute.

I agree with you, he is one of those actors who doesn't get much recognition but i've watched most of his works. He is a really good actor and he has a lot of charms that can sway the audience in a swift. I am anticipating broker as well, I watched the trailer and the storyline is interesting. Same, I also like Victoria Song!

You're not alone, despite finishing L&R, I still kept coming back to this site to see people who can't move on as well. I watched all of their behind the scene clips already to the point I got nothing else to watch. I agree with what you said, this is really a masterpiece...it'll be hard to move on. I am currently watching other c-dramas that are recently released this year and to no avail, I keep thinking of Si Feng and Xuan Ji, I can't properly focus. I guess this is what it's like.. this drama is so good, will definetly re-watch it too!! In hopes we get another season or a drama that is as good as this but think it'll be hard to find one that can top L&R for the time being.

I've been so used to seeing him with long hair too, didn't expect he'd look even more stunning in modern dramas. I wish he could have more projects like this as well, he literally can nail every role, like his acting skills are so good. What a natural talent he is.

One of the cdramas which i've anticipated, so I immediately watched it the moment it aired. It has filled the void that L&R gave me after it ended, and so far i'm loving every bits of the episode. The fact that Yuan Shuai isn't one of those typical male lead characters that you'd hate for being too much, he is a total sweetheart. On the other hand, Jiang Jun the female character is a very determined person, who doesn't easily give up and is certain about what she wants which I liked so much about her. I'm so excited for the next episodes!! Ep 13 please come quickly! Bai Lu is one of my top fave actress thought i'd never be able to love her with other male leads because of her chemistry with Xu Kai, i'm wrong because this is just the beginning and i'm loving her chemistry with Leo.

Will definetly watch this, hopefully they keep the same main leads. I want to see Chengyi and Crystal Yuan working together again, their chemistry is too good and they brought so much life to Si Feng & Xuan Ji. I can't imagine another actor/actress playing their roles.

The best drama of 2020 and definetly, the best xianxia drama to have ever been created. A mixure of bittersweet happiness over the fact that it has already ended. Now I feel so empty, which clearly shows how Love and Redemption has such huge impact. Will definetly re-watch this again one day. I'M BADLY HOPING FOR SEASON 2 with same cast ofcourse.
