I may be wrong but based on what I had read through xhs/weibo his agency doesn't promote and manage him well, he really did audition for the role despite the writer seeing him as a perfect cast for Jin Zhao. I also read that during that time he auditioned via WeChat and the authority lies with the production crew and company as well not just the writer alone.

My answer would be a no, given how China bans international apps/platforms/sites etc. They'd have to use VPN for certain things. Although I think certain production companies are becoming aware of kisskh but for celebrities I doubt they have the time to find this site as they mainly focus on weibo, douyin and xhs

I have finally completed composing my review for SAL. It has been a memorable watch, one that I would certainly come back to. Kudos to everyone behind the production of this drama.

I didn't know it too until I saw islands (his fans name) discussing about it on xhs and weibo. I haven't watched my fated boy, guess I will do it now! IKR he definitely will and would be there to support him...he easily became my fave actor and it's crazy because him and neo are close friends and he rides with Chenglei too 🤭

True, he is guarded but we can assume he is truly young master based on his hobbies alone and I like how he is the type who can scold his fans. Like I saw a video of him on XHS scolding islands in a respectful manner btw which I think is a good thing now that he is gaining more popularity, his fans can know their boundary earlier on. Tbh this is a first for me, to support underdogs, like I rarely support new actors he had a strong hold on me. Same here! can't wait. Now I am watching videos of him from his appearances on variety shows

For me, I am planning to start unclouded soul and the glory, I saw shine on me trailer but I didn't watch it yet still stuck in SAL not sure if I can handle a modern drama yet...do let me know what you think of shine on me once you start it! IKR guess it'll take months for us to move on from SAL too

It's almost new year and I have tried watching other dramas but for some reason I still gravitate back to SAL. My social media is filled with their edits and I lost count of how many edits I saw and saved. It's been a week since SAL ended, but I haven't finished writing my review for this drama. Hopefully I get to post it before new year. I just can't gather my thoughts properly, the feeling SAL gave me still lingers. Before I was honestly not a fan of modern cdramas, I was more into xianxia and historical and would usually skip cdramas but this year with TFF opening 2025 and now SAL ending it, could say that modern cdramas have now taken my heart. SAL definitely easily became one of my fave modern cdrama. I think I will be struggling for quite a long while to recover from post-sal depression.

I was hoping for that too especially when I saw how good they looked during their photoshoot...but it seems they both don't have a record of repeating partners yet

I picked this up recently and I didn't know this would be so addicting, the tropes aren't new at all and ones I have already seen but what I like about it in this drama is how refreshing the execution is and the FL's character is just done right

It's the same case for me, I easily became a new fan. I agree with you, he is a great actor and I remember being surprised about the fact that he's been in the industry all along but only manage to find his limelight now, although still glad that he finally had a breakthrough. He is multi-talented too, heard he knows a lot of sports and no doubt is he intelligent because he attended prestigious universities in china. I recently read from c-fans that he is actually rich and comes from a well-off family though unsure what his family does but I guess it can be a given considering he has a lot of hobbies and that takes a lot of money. I am so excited and looking forward to his works next year too.
