In china this drama is still being called Mo Li, it is only internationally that they are calling it by its English name The First Jasmine. This is the downside of having an English title for cdramas because the nuance in the meaning always ends up being lost as there is not enough English words that can capture the same depth of chinese characters and pinyins.

The native title of this drama is known as "莫离" = Mò Lí which translates to 莫 = do not/not 离 = leave/ depart means do not leave/ do not depart, but this character sounds similar to the chinese word for Jasmine with just pinyin difference, this is the original jasmine character "茉​莉" = Mò Lì. They played with the word hence the title.

It achieved a high heat index too yesterday, so I am confident as well that it will be very popular. I honestly didn't expect for the production quality to be this good. That already says a lot how this will do well. Things like this always happened on this platform so I wasn't surprised, it will definitely get the rating it deserves soon and so far I am seeing plenty of positive comments on this platform.

After holding off from watching the remaining last two episodes for almost a month, I have finally completed Perfect Crown today. I already feel empty when the credits started rolling. I have so much to say about this drama but, it all concludes to it becoming my fave kdrama of the year after suffering and failing to accomplish any dramas these days.

I think there's a few instances too that Cheng Lei had honey eyes, but yes can't blame them at all 🤭....yes! I cracked up so loudly she's on point for that though. Made me wonder if she also counted how many bath scenes he had 😂
