What makes the movie feel intense is more the sudden loud sound cues and the unpredictable movements and actions of the zombies rather than traditional jumpscares. So if you're mainly concerned about frequent jumpscares, I don't think it's something you need to worry too much about.

I remember in earlier episodes there was a mention that he was also someone who used to live in Lishan Mountain. Although I can't completely recall which ep it exactly was. He is also someone who knows who Qingshuang is. There was a scene where he asked Ye Li about her. Other than these, the rest of your questions remains a mystery. She is indeed secretive with every detail that pertains to Lishan Mountain.

This is one of the aspects i've noticed about this drama as well. The writer didn't come to play, they kept delivering every episode. For a 40 eps drama it is brilliant indeed 👏

Honestly, she's probably the only actress whose entire filmography i've kept up with. I've never intentionally skipped any of her dramas. While I may initially tune in because she's in it, I usually end up staying because the scripts and the performances she delivers are consistently impressive. She has a knack for bringing her characters to life, and more often than not, her projects end up being genuinely good. At this point, seeing her name attached to a drama is already enough to make me interested.

I find it odd how iQIYI seems to not be following the official schedule. It keeps lacking one episodes whereas unofficial sites already uploaded the other episode.
