I honestly don't get the hate this drama has been getting lately, it seems quite forced. They were blaming the actors not so long ago, now this. The drama imo has been good so far and the plot is getting even more interesting. I do agree that the start of the series wasn't that impactful but after five episodes it got better.
This is surprisingly so good. I’ve been drifting away from K-dramas lately—I couldn’t even get through a single first episode because nothing was really piquing my interest. I honestly thought this would be the same, but I didn’t expect to love the first episode this much. It completely pulled me in.
I’m not very familiar with the male lead yet, but so far he’s doing a solid job. I’m already excited to see how the story unfolds and how their chemistry develops. It feels like there’s going to be a lot of trauma and healing woven into the narrative, and I’m absolutely seated for the slow burn. Their first meeting after everything was so poetic.

I feel the same. This is exactly why I love slow-burn romances or those that start with friendship first. I need the leads to move at a certain pace so that when they finally enter the dating stage, it feels deeper and more earned. The shift hits differently, it’s more heartfelt because the tension and buildup have been carefully laid out. And I think that’s the key, we get to savor the stolen glances, the accidental touches, the quiet yearning. All those little moments make the eventual romance so much more meaningful.
Could be a mix of everything but this drama is really good and deserving of such rating.
I suggest you give this one a try, this wasn't on my list and I only knew of it when it started airing since I had nothing else to watch but I unexpectedly ended up enjoying it.
