I wasn't disappointed with their story arc as I am someone who enjoys angst, there were just certain things regarding their story that I wish was written better. I wasn't an overall fan of how cruel Yang Xi treated Shou Hua just for the sake of divorce, his reasons to not want to implicate her is valid but I wish they didn't have to show him accidentally hitting her like that. Another is how I preferred if they were made to be more honest with each other as they could have avoided the misunderstanding trope. Shou Hua knowing his intentions without him having to tell her the truth shows her capabilities, it would have been interesting to see them work to solve this matter together instead. But, still I do get Yang Xi's intentions. If not that, maybe they could have made his grand scheme more clearer for viewers pov, because it was so easy to misunderstand his intentions if you just simply miss out on the small details, like certain dialogues exchanged especially with his stepmother.
I did love how the younger sisters stood out for their da jie jie. Kang Ning crying like a baby and Chai An comforting his wife was a cute moment to see and I like how overall the Li Family especially Shou Hua had found genius way to help save Yang Xi in the end. As for Sang Yanrang, I disliked him at first but after what he did in the end, he managed to redeem himself in my eyes. I like how he lowkey planned all of it just so they could meet again, he definitely served as the mending bridge in the end. Now looking forward to the 4th sisters story arc, their first brief meeting seems interesting. Hui Zhao is an intriguing character with his secret animosity towards Du Yang Xi. I can't wait for them to join forces as son-in-law alliance.
