Do you know what, I actually don't think this is too bad. I think the problem is not only the limited script writing,…
Can you imagine a big, dominant guy playing Kamol? His snapping at Baiboon at the dinner table would have been scary, and Kim's subsequent admonition would have been daring and then Kamol's conceding to Kim sweet. As it was, the scene fell a little flat. I feel bad saying these things because it isn't Yoon's fault. They cast a baby-faced, soft-spoken, not muscled-up guy to play this part. There's only so much he can do with it.
This is so bad and everyone agrees. The first 3 episodes have gotten so much fun hate but it is clear that this…
Once we got past the bad casting, etc, we're all settling down to watch. I feel there are enjoyable aspects. I would be happier if it was a little more passionate.
What did we learn from this episode? Consent is just a word you can use once, in the end subs have no own opinion…
I'm just not seeing them as dom/sub. They did that one scene so poorly, it never registered that they have that type of relationship. Personally, I think they should have left it out. (If I remember correctly, even in the book it wasn't prevalent past it being the way they got together.)
Okay. Episode four. Once again, I'm liking it just a little bit more. I still believe they made a mistake with casting. Yoon is a good actor but not right for the part. However, he's doing his best. Seems as long as they stay away from sex, they're okay. It's not that I don't think the two have chemistry, but if little smooches are all they're going to give, it shouldn't be a passion-driven show, as the advertising leads us to believe. Now that we seem to be getting into some danger, I'm all in to see what happens. The Italian "mafia" music is still ridiculous, as are the mouth peck kisses. The tattoo still looks awful. I think part of it is Yoon just doesn't have the back for one that large. I noticed the livingroom/foyer echoed a lot, which was weird for that scene, plus Yoon's bedroom door mysteriously unlocked before Kim opened it. I'm wondering how much they're going to give to the secondary couple. They played a large part in the book. Baiboon isn't as young and naive (so far) as he seemed in the book, but we'll see how things go. I do look forward to Kim warming up to Kamol little by littler. It's difficult to tell if Kim is remembering how Day acted about the hugs because he's impressed Kamol is treating him better or if he's just missing Day.
Sometimes I be thinking with vee over dramatic confession in ep2 that he was crushing on mark before they spent…
Right, at one point I thought Vee was going to say to Mark, "I wasn't drunk." But he didn't. I also thought he was going to say at another point, "You're the only one I've slept with." I can't remember what gave me that idea. He didn't finish the sentence, though.
Sorry leave my baby vee out if this. Nine is horrible.Vee is relatable and is just struggling with his emotions…
Oh, I know. I actually love Vee. I wrote that when I was watching ep 3. He was talking baby talk to his gf while leading Mark by the nose. I love this couple, though. <3 And yes--MewGulf! :) *high five
damn this episode is the best one so far, this show just keeps getting better!also i know everyone here hates…
I like him, but in episode three he was really making me angry because he seemed to be dragging Mark around while talking baby talk to his girlfriend every time she called. I loved these guys in En of Love and even more in this.
NOTHING IS HAPPENING!! Is this a foodie drama or the drama that is so steamy that it has an OnlyFans page? They…
Why was Daonuea stuffing food in his mouth? What was wrong with him in this episode? Acting like a baby, stuffing his face, and staring at Nine! (Oh, and falling asleep and eatching a big lollipop.)
