And that was Green, wasn't it? I've been wanting to see him since The Tuxedo! And such a small part.
If I remember correctly, it's just the one guy has a lot of family issues and also really bad anxiety. Maybe a couple of things didn't make sense. Oh, and I think there was a girl involved, which a lot of people didn't like, including me. But I'm glad I watched it for the guys and for the theme song, which Jeff Satur sings.

I really liked it, but it was short and had some problems. The two guys had great chemistry. I would recommend unless you are just really picky about plot.
I’m confused why the rating is so low… does it get really bad during the back half of the series? Because…
Yes. It starts getting bad around episode 8, but some are also miffed about Pun being a high school sophomore and Sib in university. (I am pretty sure they said Pun was in 10th grade at the beginning, but we know he was in highschool due to the hs uniform.)
I thought the rating was too harsh until I saw episode 8. This show is laugh out loud bad!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 It…
Right? I mean, he really is a coward! And we don't even know if he would have changed for Pun if Pun had stayed. Plus, what's up with that ending? Was it a joke? The most bizarre thing is having Boat play such a young character and then expecting to pass him off as 8th grade in those flashbacks.

I would have been okay with this if it had ended with the two brothers reunited and crying. I might have even been okay with this is Pun had returned to find that Em and Sib had reopened the shop together. I would have been okay with SibTar and EmPun. But what the hell was that ending? Pun told his mom that he'll be back to China next week. So...does he stay instead? What about Tar moving on? He's right back where he was before! I mean, sure, he could have moved on emotionally, but they had decided to close the cafe and three years later they're running it again? It would have been more satisfying if Pun had found out Sib and Tar had gotten married and reopened the shop, and then he ran into Em and realized he loved him all along and Sib was just a crush.
Right? Pat is an out, gay man with experience in relationships. I don’t understand his reactions.
I can't remember either, but it seems to me like they were flirting at first. I know Pat was looking at Jeng like WOW when he spilled that drink on his shoe. I'm not sure where the part came in where he convinced himself Jeng is straight. I mean, he thought Jeng's neice was his daughter at first, didn't he? Maybe when he found out Jeng was his boss, he just labeled him as straight.
to be honest I Don't think they way Pat leaned on Jeng and danced together and then acting so shocked was a good…
I just hadn't realized that Pat didn't know Jeng was gay. I think he's been hit by a truck. What? Jeng is gay? You mean...I can possible have him? Oh, wait, he's seen me cry and throw up multiple times. Crap.
Can someone explain to me why Pat reacted that way at the end of the episode, after finding out Jeng likes men?…
I've tried to reason it out in comments above. I just think that you have to imagine how you would feel if you crushed on someone when you met them, then found out they were your new boss and probably straight. I mean, I think Pat put Jeng in a category then and shut the door on the crush he was developing when he first met Jeng. And now...after so many things have happened...he finds out Jeng is gay--has been this whole time--and Pat doesn't know what to do with this information, so he walks away. Well, staggers because he's so drunk. And falls down because he's so drunk.

Imagine you're Pat. You've come to grips with it a long time ago. Yes, he's fine. But he's your boss. And straight. You'll just enjoy him as a friend, sort of. And now, after crying on him, drinking with him, and dancing with him, you find out that he's...gay. He's been GAY this whole time! What a minute. Then...what does this mean? You'd better rewind and look at every interaction you've had with the man. And how do you feel for him now? Does this mean you can maybe crush on him again? Or is it too late for that because you've acted like an absolute ass in front of him so many times? That's my take on it, anyway.
