Whoa. For a minute there I thought Tai was falling for that girl. Then we get THAT. Crap. This show is driving me nuts. I wish I could watch it all now.
While we didn't get to experience the Jane and Mon break up, I believe it was the same dynamic we're witnessing…
I question Jen's thoughts. I mean, he was dating the other guy and didn't seem to have any interest in Jaab, then he suddenly does and kisses him even though he has a bf. I suppose that's what Jaab's thinking about, too.
I love this show. Baffled by how many do not like the plot direction. I understand if you read the book and it's…
I agree. I think they shouldn't have made Pat running from Put so much at the beginning. At first, I really thought Put had been an abusive boyfriend and that Pat was scared of him. Then, when Put approached him at Pat's gate and it didn't seem Pat was afraid, I thought that, whatever had happened between them, Pat was positive he didn't want Put back. So, when Pat opened up to it very unexpectedly (with the crocheted shark, of all things), it set the show on a path the confused a lot of viewers. But now that Pat has this settled, hopefully he will move on with Jeng. (IMO, they should have had Pat remembering what he felt was a perfect relationship with Put and being hurt and all from the get-go rather than acting angry, I guess because Put left.)
im confused, why Jaab said to Jane to stay friends when Jane did tell him he broke up with his boyfriend, thats…
I think Jen was trying to say he was sorry that he kissed Jaab like that when Jen was still involved with Mon. But Jaab took it the wrong way, feeling that Jen was sorry for the kiss entirely. And he didn't think Jen breaking up with Mon was an invitation--just statement tacked on there, like he's saying, "Obviously my relationship isn't what it should be. So I ended it."
While we didn't get to experience the Jane and Mon break up, I believe it was the same dynamic we're witnessing…
Yes, Put seems to be stepping back into the relationship where it left off rather than starting over. He seems comfortable with Pat, while Pat realizes that he has lost romantic feelings he'd had with Put.
I don't think bringing in love scenes with a second man is ever a good idea. Remember the Beloved in House flashback…
To be honest, I'd kind of forgotten about those days, lol. Yeah, they did give us that. Everything that's come between has lost me with those beginning feelings. Plus, it's hard to hold onto that when Pat so willingly went back with Put without seeming to give much thought to his budding relationship with Jeng--or the attraction, at least.
Sexy, polite, and rich. I think Pat has low self-esteem and felt comfortable with Put. Until the end of this episode.…
Well, I mean, he's nice looking, kind, and smart, etc, but I would just like to have Jeng's thoughts, you know? His motivation that drives an older man like him to fall for this younger guy. I feel they're leaving that out, but I guess it could still happen. Technically, their romance is just revving up. Someone reminded me that we saw some of that in the beginning, before they realized they were boss/employee. It just kind of disappeared after that. We knew Jeng liked Pat, but we weren't really getting his thoughts.
That was a beautiful ending befitting one of the best bl's out there. BB merging with A Tale of 1000 Stars worked better than one would think. Kudos to the actors and director. I was definitely tearing up along with Earth and Mix in the end, and I definitely think their tears weren't all acting.
Author of novel must be ticked. Sounds like book did it better.
Who's stupid idea was it to change that? It sounds much better! I got the feeling while watching that the director was trying to convey that Pat and Put were a separate thing and something that had to be taken care of before Pat and Jeng could really begin something. But I think they dropped the ball somewhere because, at least to me, Pat seemed afraid of Put at first, and then he seemed like he absolutely would never get back with him. Then he changed his mind over a crocheted shark! Weird. In that kissing scene, I feel like our concentration was supposed to be on the lack of passion and deep feeling, but they hadn't built up JengPat enough to use him, and like I said, I think they wanted Pat to come to this conclusion without Jeng being a factor. Not sure why. They should have stuck with the novel.
