I thought it was entertaining. It wasn't terrible, it wasn't great either. It was fluffy. However, I don't like…
Evidently from what we heard near the very end, Lukchup had more of an anxiety thing than what came from some lady picking him up and pinching him. He says he was almost kidnapped, and the mom reveals he was nearly run over by a crowd of reporters who "broke both his wrists and his head." I really think the "toys" thing was a subtitle/translation error. I think it was probably more like entertainment--hand-held games or something. But, yeah, midnight when in college seems a bit early. I think Grandma just worried about him and probably couldn't sleep until he got home safely. I agree with you that the villain girl was good, but I didn't like how she went from just being a big bitch who is used to buying her own way to a crazy woman. Same with her mom, who trained her to act sick to get Daddy's attention. It was like the writers suddenly wanted us to feel sorry for her. (Lord, there for a minute, I'd thought she'd offed herself with that gunshot.) I'd watch the whole thing again for Lukchup's smile!
Yes, they are concentrating on the wrong things, in my opinion.
It would have been nice if they'd gone a different route and had the girl urge Souta to talk, and then maybe helped him see that he's probably reading that hug wrong and Mahiro could be reacting like he is for this or that reason.
also I find Mahiro really annoying with his misunderstandings and cowardness. Souta literally confessed that he…
Yeah, Souta was trying to be frank with him--he's confused. He likes him but isn't sure it's love or anything or if he can even be physical with a man. I guess Mahiro might not want to be a guinea pig, but he could at least try to be understanding.
So.Let's summarize. In order to find out his feelings for Mahiro, Souta tries to kiss him.Mahiro pushes him away,…
It's ridiculous to be expected to believe that, after spending time with Ryu and knowing his backstory, Souta would honestly believe that a hug meant more. I mean, Ryu is Mahiro's boss, and friend who is somewhat older. A lot of what's going on now seems contrived to draw out the show. And the naked dining part feels like something just to draw an audience out of curiosity. So, he likes to eat naked. Okay. And then here's the girl--swooping in to grab up Souta even when she could plainly see he likes Mahiro. (Of course, Souta just said that he was "rejected," so I guess she thinks he's free, but that doesn't mean he's going to jump into something with her. Or is he? He just might be that dumb.)
Tai reading a Nora Roberts book in bed is such a mood. I'm starting to think that him being unable to accept his…
I agree that the second couple could be compelling as long as Tien acts human. When he's being a brat, I can't stand him. I also agree I don't want a real triangle. Jealousy is okay, but then move on. I think the first couple is great together.
I still don't know how I feel about this series. Parts of it I like, but those parts are few and far between. I'm not big on the cooking part, but it doesn't turn me off. The eating naked part is not really explained well. I don't really like the girl getting in the way or Souta somehow misunderstanding a HUG, for Pete's sake. These are such short episodes, and they seem wasted lately.
This was a real feel-good series. It seemed a little slow at first but it's one of those that shows the day-to-day of university and friendship and I enjoyed it a lot. All three main couples were adorable. The subtitles where I watched it were a little off--mostly the pronouns and the timing--just slightly, so that I had a little trouble understanding a few things--particularly Bright and Meen's issues. But all in all, this was very enjoyable. I was pleasantly surprised when it got so hot in the NC department! Whew! Plus the sweetest ever ending.
